Well if you have a tempormental butthead like mine LOL

This has been happening quite a lot lately. If you try to feed him water, treats, pets, or just look at him wrong you hear grrrrr then bam “I’ve been hit!!!” and you feel bunny teeth sinking into your sensitive flesh lol.

I soooo hate my vet right now for making me wait.

I have battle wounds! But yet 10 minutes later here I sit with him in my lap giving him a piece of banana  go figure lol

The wound I just got. Luckily I have had worse from my dogs and didn’t freak out  This was after it FINALLY stopped bleeding (I am a free bleeder)

Not long now – hang in there, maybe wear some garlic around your neck. Maybe you should have named him Pac Bam after all!

Ahh I’m sorry. I have a deep scar on my arm from a similar situation (not even my own bunny)!

Be sure to let a bit of time go by between the bite and the banana. You don’t want to accidentally train him to think biting is rewarded!

That’s a nasty bite. Bite him back.

I have a rabbit who has been neutered for a very long time and he still does this. He is extremely enthusiastic about his food so I have to distract him while I put down his food or give him treats otherwise I will be wounded. Neutering him may not necessarily change this behavior. Pepe likes alot of attention too which makes me think his biting is partly related to getting attention – I also think sometimes his eyesight is not so good so sudden moves and me wanting to pick him up scares him and he reacts by biting.

Moreland did that and I neutered him and he still does it. He is enthusiastic about me going in his room. I thought it was him being territorial but he does it so infrequently i think he is just happy were home, espeically when we get off work. He is also enthusiastic about his food as well. i have to distract him.

Neutering will help him calm down a little bit but not all the quirks will go away. My bunn is evil sometimes; most the time i think he wants to spend more time together which im working on.

I don’t expect it to completely stop I had a ferret who but from the day he was born until the day he died and he was neutered lol.

But hopefully it will help with his mood swings today he is very lovely and wants to sit with me and do nothing else. Yesterday I could look at him and he would growl and lunge at the bars. I’m cool if he nips every now and then I have a turtle that if you go near him most of the time you are likely to lose a finger LOL.

Oh ouch. I bet you’re just counting down the days until his neuter!

In the meantime, do they make bunny muzzles?

My lops both scratch and nip when they dont want to be picked up. The boys neuterd and he still bites hard enough to give me a bruise when hes displeased.
