I have a small petmate double door right now that I love (first picture), but now that I have two rabbits and they dont both fit in there I need another one, especially since I am going to be doing some car stress bonding in the spring.  The double door feature brings the price up but personally I think it is worth it.

Marchioro has a small animal carrier I’ve seen on a lot of rabbit sites (second picture).  Does anyone have this and like it?  I’m not sure about the no front entrance thing…I like to give Frank (the mellow one) the choice of walking in herself.  Which she usually does. Also I think I’d like to have a better view of them.

Also, when you take your rabbit to the vet, I know you are supposed to take bonded pairs together.  Do you usually bring them in the same carrier?  Maybe buying a larger carrier would be worth it.

Sorry for all the questions I just dont want to waste money on the wrong product!

Yup I’ve got that exact marchioro carrier-my first carrier. I really like it It has a nice window on top and a little spot for putting leashes.

That being said I have three carriers but my buns prefer to sit on the car seat rather then in the carriers

i have the marchioro clipper carrier, the medium size.  i love it b/c it has the top door also.  i had a small carrier (the smallest size available) when i just had Meadow, but when i adopted Max, i knew i would need a larger carrier for both.  anytime we leave the house for vet visits, they ride together.  even if only one is going in for an exam, they always go together.  since they are bonded, i prefer to never have to separate them, and i feel they do provide each other some comfort in the car.

i’m unsure about that particular marchioro carrier, i have never seen one like that before.  this is the one i have.

thanks for the thoughts guys. I ended up getting the exact same one you did Beka off of amazon.com. I got $5 off and free shipping, plus a little water dish that attaches to the front. It was more than I wanted to spend at this moment, but since I do a lot of traveling it will be worth it in the end. Plus, hopefully I will need this big one once they are bonded again (fingers crossed!)

I use a Nylabone collapseable carrier.  It stores flat and saves a ton of room and is spacious for my two.
