  Yay 18! Im totally going to buy a lottery ticket today, because i can! And a pack of cigarettes and then just throw them away, because i can!! Ill skip the clubs though, weird how im legal for that stuff. Sadly i dont look any older lol, so ill still get carded for R movies, and thrown out if i dont have my ID lol.

  Oh Girl! Don’t wish you looked older! You can use it to your advantage you know! Good luck with the lotto, totally forget about wasting your money on the ciggies……there must be something else you’re legally allowed to do now?? Can’t remember doing anything like that on my 18th….think I worked a night shiift – blah – boring!
  Well enjoy remainder of your birthday and though you are now officially an adult, just remember to keep the child alive too!

  A most wonderful and happy 18th to you Liz and many happy returns of the day! ^_^ lolz…I wonder if 18 is really the milestone these days as it has been in the past? Most kids are doing things that they are not of ‘legal age’ to do anyway now. >.<
  
  R movies were okay at 17 when I was a teen. Has that changed?

  Mimz-No the legal age for R movies is still 17, but i didnt used to carry my ID every where. So it was always by chance if they would believe me and let me in. Tonight i actually got carded at the movies twice. Once for buying the ticket, and again at the door of the movie. I just hate to show my ID, partly because i hate my picture on that thing lol. And i think your right about 18 not being as big of a milestone these days, most kids do a lot more before theyre 18, then is even legal at 18.
  
  Jersey- lol i wish i looked 18, but once i look like im 20 then im good and ill hope to not age lol. You have no idea how frustrating it is to still get a kids menu! And everytime i go to this certain Kroger store the old lady handing out balloons offers me one… no thank you lol.

  When I was a young kid, my mum would practically shave my head every summer because she didnt’ want to fight me over my hair care (or lack of it) and I can’t tell you-because of the unibrow I had-how many store clerks would hand me my purchases with a “There you are young man,” sendoff. ARGH! That cheesed me off so bad I swore when I was in control of my hair I would grow it down to my butt. Which I did. The I lost it all again four years ago and now I look more like a guy than ever before…lolz.

  Birthdays fly past so quickly, so enjoy every age that you are. It was just ‘yesterday’ that I was 18 wishing to be 20, now I’m 22 wishing to be 18
