update~ session 2 didn’t go as well. Leila kept whimpering (or grunting…?) when Pudge mounted her.
They got in small arguments and chased each other in circles but Leila seemed to be nipping so I always broke them up.
Leila is worrying me, she nips Pudge’s rump and also tried to burrow her head under it as if trying to get at his ‘stuff’… and then Pudge decided to mount Leila from the front! I quickly broke it up. They seemed more destructive and were digging at the towels laid out for them. Whenever I forced them side by side and stroked them they seemed okay. Both seemed to enjoy it, and would wait a few seconds after I stopped stroking to perk up. I sprayed Leila about 3 times cuz she was being too aggressive (tried nipping him on his side a bunch of times..). Anyways next session I’ll turn the drier on because I think that helped with the first session. But overall it didn’t seem too good.

edit~ oh yes, Pudge did 2 loud thumps twice and someone (I’m pretty sure Leila) peed…if that means anything important.. -_-

Thanks, I didn’t have time to do another session today but should definitely be able to fit one in tomorrow. I’m going to try the “Banana smeared on head” thing with both of them. Usually they both could care less about food when they out playing. But Leila, as far as I know has never tried bananas so we’ll give it a try… Bit worried she’ll take a chunk of fur off with the banana though… she’s not as… “coordinated” as Pudge..

3 session- Was alot like the 2nd, they had small arguments, Leila was being bossy and kept nipping Pudge, and they were both being lil’ buggers and wouldn’t groom eachother, yet, they both insisted that the other groomed them by shoving their head into the other’s face. Leila licked the banana off Pudge’s forehead once, but not for long. Pudge did more disapproving thumps when he got pi – – ed at the way the session was going… Leila is a tad physco. She’s very ….destructive lol… she seemed more interested in banishing the towels then socializing with Pudge. Whenever Pudge goes near her he gets a small nip (which probably doesn’t even hurt with his thick ever-shedding coat) but SaveABunny info says it’s ‘good’ they’re not paying attention to the other… which I guess is okay considering Leila’s ‘tude (she even bit me when I did one of the break ups!). Anyways ‘nother session tomorrow hopefully. I don’t think they like the tub very much at all so I guess I could find another neutral area to pen off.
Today’s outcome? 2 unhappy,destructive,sticky-headed, disapproving rabbits.

4th session (15-20 mins)- Pudge thumped twice in disapproval and again Leila peed ruining a near by box lol. But overall it was pretty good! I used the whole bathroom for them to run around and they seemed to enjoy it. Thankfully, Leila groomed Pudge 3 times!!! (: Pudge groomed Leila- 0 times haha, but atleast he was being nice and din’t even try to mount her. She followed him around at points as if she was going to mount but she keeps nuzzling her head under his rump and nips too! I always stop her when she does this, she does this with her stunt Pudge too, she’ll flip it over and hop around and nudge it around. Hmm. Anyone know what’s up with this?…….. anyways In these lil cat cube thing they both hopped in and snuggled by themselves which was great. …Pics soon!

5th session….help!
There’s a tiny bit of fur in the box they’re snuggling in now. I have a sneaking suspicion it’s Pudges too.
Every second they’re either snuggling up or arguing. But now, seems like mostly snuggling. I don’t know if this is a “flopping war” or what. Leila (the evil one) is probably just exhausted from bossing Pudge around so much. But literally every second! Like right now! (yes i hooked up the laptop in here -_-) I bet Pudge would be so easy with another bunny. He’s being so laid back and submissive and begging for grooms from Leila. Jeez. Why can’t Leila be a nice bunneh?

Bonding session just ended and I put Leila back in her home. Then I tranced Pudge, Gosh it’s cute I wish I had my camera by me! He was out of it and that got him relaxed until he snapped out of it and when back in the box after a couple stink eyes and boxes.

Thanks! For the most part, yes, they can walk past each other with no incidents. I have not tried the hay in litter box thing yet as I only have one big cat litterbox and it’s in Pudge’s pen (so I’m worried his scent will be all over it and that might lead to him being more aggressive?). I do always put out the bowl of veggies. They haven’t eaten any together yet but they do stop by occasionally to grab a bite. They also have a bowl of hay put out. I’ll buy the hay blend I see in Petsmart! (: I have not switched their pens yet, but I definitely will soon. I attached some pictures of them snuggling. They must have snuggled at least 10 times last session. You can tell Pudge was being careful and trying not to annoy her haha.

I think i did the 6th session but i can’t remember it. I think it went normally, small fights and cuddles.
7th session- more arguments,chasing and nipping. But they did cuddle a bit and i was so proud of Pudge  towards the end he groomed Leila as if she hadn’t washed herself in weeks. He groomed her whole forehead and a bit of her ear! This is the most grooming I’ve ever seen Pudge do to another rabbit! anyways Leila who was flopped beside him was totally enjoying the attention and was slowly dozing off. Once Pudge stopped grooming I slid him away and scooped him up to put him back in his pen *it was getting real late and I wanted to leave them on a good note!) When I was doing the daily clean to the pens Leila decided to hop in her pen (which I had put Pudge in for about 4 days) and visit Pudge! I was so afraid Pudge would spazz out at her because the pen isn’t that big and they can easily start a fight. but i held them down and Leila kept slipping out everytime I tried to scoop her up (she hate hate HATES being held!). I finally managed to scoop her up for 30 secs which gave her time to hop out of my arms and rush into Pudge’s pen disapprovingly.

8th session…
Gee Delilah is a bossy little thing. Pudge will be in the box and she’ll annoy him until he leaves then when he goes into the cat cube she’ll hop in and annoy him until he goes back to the box! Poor Pudgy. But overall they’re doing pretty well… grooming more often but still having dominance fights… Leila seems to be a little trouble maker diva bunny.
