  Ok So I set her xpen up next to Tonks a few inches away kinda like Beka did. Whoaaa Tonks started attacking thru the cage. I moved them a little bit further apart and put a box between the cages so they only have a little room to see each other. I let Tonks out of her pen a few minutes but she was going up to Tempe’s cage and attacking her so i’m gonna have to put something around Tempe’s cage and vice versa when I let them out (seperately of course). I Tonks is probably not happt someone is invading her house!! And i’m sure the new smell from Tempe and all the other animal smells on Tempe from the humane society is not too pleasing to her!! Tempe seems to be doing good. She’s already flopped out!! I picked up her poos and put them in her litter box and the corner she pee’d in I sopped it up with a small paper towel, put it in the litter box and moved it to that corner so we’ll see how she does!! It’s been an exciting evening so far! The cats are all like what the heck have you brought home now!!

  generally, it’s a good idea to have litterboxes on opposite sides of the pens and food closer in the middle, so when they eat, they are very close to each other. it’s likely that the reason why she went potty in that front corner was due to marking. good idea placing the box in between. that way they can have short breaks from each other. will you be switching them between the pens each night? that can prevent them becoming overly territorial of “their” pen.
  
  watch when they have individual playtime that they cannot nip thru the bars. my Max suffered a nasty cut on his lip during their bonding.

  I am going to give Tempe a few days to get used to a litter box before I switch them. Since she was either released to the wild or was kept in a outdoor hutch she has been away from any sort of litter training for a while. I had to switch litter boxes though because Tempe is a hiker!! She peed outside the regular litter box cuz she hiked her butt up so high. At least she went to the box to pee though!! I’ll have to get another high sided litter box for when I start switching them in their cages at night. When I got up this morning she had peed and pooped in her box. There were a few stray poops but pretty good for the first night!! Now Tonks on the other hand pooped ALL over her cage!!! It was the biggest poop explosion yet!!! I did block Tempe’s cage last night when I let Tonks out to play cuz she was trying to get feisty up by her cage!!
