So we’ve had to change Chucks set up. He was free range (although he never really went anywhere but in his boxes). Here’s what his set up was…
But although Rupert and Kahlua like him and would visit with him, and Chuck would get along with anyone, when they’d hop in to eat or poo, they’d startle him. It’s been about six months and he was still getting startled when the’d pop in.
Sooo Dave suggested we move him, and we’re trialing this. We put him in the ‘penthouse’ suite, just made the top floor of the condo in accessible to the other floors (so he doesn’t fall down the ramp), and so far he seems to really like it. I was worried he’d be lonely but unless he’s sleeping he’s always busy doing something! He also startles much less when I get him for his face wash and ‘couch playing’….sooo so far so good. I’ll have to get some pics of the new set up, but it’s six cubes deep and two wide; I bought him a ‘bath matt’ but it’s more like a big carpet square-he LOVES it (too cute!!
) and then he has his litter box, food/water, a cat condo, his pillow bed, and FOUR stuffed animals (he still loves his lion best) and some chew toys.
