So Felony has been free range for quite a bit now. We’ll he has suddenly lost his litter training!! He has been pooing and peeing all over his pen. Inside the litterbox and outside. His pen stays open all the time and his litterbox is in there along with his food and hay.

So……. Now I’ve had to restrict him back to his pen in hopes that he starts using his box again. He’s just sitting there looking all pissy at me, its killing me!!

Uh-oh – thats odd, I wonder what happened? Did you do something he disapproved of like have your friends over, or another animal in the house, or move the furniture? I think that could have caused him to think he needs to re-mark his territory. Also, has he been acting normal? Sometimes that sudden loss in litter training habits can indicate a health problem.

I’m pretty sure it has to do with our recent trek to Canada, my boyfriends huge family and his two cats…. He’ll get back into the swing of things.

Ooooogh! Cranky bunny vibes! I hope you’re able to recover from them (they’re pretty serious, you know). And I hope that that cute little Felony decides to stop trying to show you who’s boss and gets out of the pen.

Ugh, they are very serious. He’s sitting up very proper in his pen and thumping at me. It’s getting ridiculous.

A small slice of banana?  A raisin?  Begging and pleading?  (Never works for me, either!)

I checked this morning and he is finally peeing only in his litterbox, but there were cocopuffs everywhere! I told him that he will remain in solitary until he starts using the potty properly like the big boy that he is. So stubborn!
He thumped at me while I was filling his water, food and hay bin…. Ugh, maybe I should have just had a baby instead….

I know, I should just let him starve in his sulkiness. Obviously that’s what he wants!

My boyf keeps laughing at me because all I talk about is how mad Felony is at me and how he keeps giving me the stink eye. He’s decided I will be a pushover with our children…. He could possibly be right

Ah, the company and the cats will do that to a bossy stinker of a bunny! Hopefully he will be getting better soon. I’m somewhat in the same boat, and I too find that the xpen works well when having to do refresher courses.

Lately, my two have been seriously misbehaving in that department because our cat dared to peek into their area and dared to share their play area in the living room (they are still not fully accepting of the cat).  Well, now it’s poop bomb central.  Usually they taper off after they feel they’ve made their point, but it’s getting ridiculous and I think that true bad habits now are settling in since they are piling their poops instead of just territorial marking.    I’ve tried some basic  things like moving the litterboxes, temporarliy blocking the poo battleground, and that seems to help. But if they continue, I’ll bring in the big guns – the xpen.  Usually, that always nips it in the bud, but I use it as a last resort since I hate to restrict their freedom since they are completely free range.  Usually a week is all they need to completely get back to normal.  We’ll see.

Keep us updated on your situation.

So woo hoo, it only took Felony two days to cave and start using his litter properly again. He’s not free range yet. He’s penned when I’m sleeping and when I’m not home. So we’ll see, hopefully he’ll have an okay time.

awwww…. Felony being a good boy is not near as exciting as Felony being naughty and aggrevating his mommy!!!!
