Movies in the theaters or nextflix recommendations?

We just saw Slum Dog Millionare. I thought it was incredible. From the script, to the directing, edting and the soundtrack – I thought all the parts were almost seamless.  It’s been a very long time since I’ve seen a movie I liked so much  (ended up buying the soundtrack from itunes and downloading it to my shuffle).

        I highly recommend it.

I really want to see it! My sister has promised to go with me when I visit her next week. I can’t wait! My bf (who is Indian) saw it and was so impressed by the accurate portrayal of poverty in India. He always complains that bollywood movies only show the rich or middle class, whereas most people in India live in poverty.

I saw Eastern Promises a few months ago. I thought it was pretty awesome, although intense. But you do get to see Viggo Mortenson nekked in a bath house which is a scene I think all movies should have….

I haven’t gotten any movies from Netflix recently other than seasons of Lost… I’m pretty addicted at this point so I can’t stop now…

Marley & Me. Amazing movie! Also, Eagle Eye was great. It’s not in theaters anymore but I’m sure netflix has it

Marly & Me is great if you want to ball your eyes out! I couldn’t stop crying for the last half hour of the movie.

Just saw Grand Toreno, that was really good

Dark Knight is pretty good.  I loved Iron Man, such a cool super hero!
We just rented Wall-E haha!  It was a decent movie.  The whole time we watched it Archie was on the 3rd level of his cottage and just sat there and stared at the tv like he was watching it

I want to see Twilight but I got the book for X-mas and want to read it first…so I probably won’t see the movie for awhile since I hardly ever read

I saw Slum Dog Millionaire too and it was great!! (About two months ago….Dave gets movies waaay ahead sometimes! The advantages of dating geeky LOL) I’d definitely recommend it-in fact we watched it twice!

The Wrestler-OK, couldn’t stop watching it, but not really enjoyable or anything.

Gran Torino-> Great, enjoyable and funny. LOTS of racist comments made by Clint though -it was a little shocking to say the least. But a good movie.

Camille-> VERY Bizarre but couldn’t stop watching, cried by eyes out at the end… I’d watch it again

Tonight I have no volunteering or shelter business so we should be watching a couple of movies-I’ll post back if see anything good
