  So everyday I go on Kijiji (and the humane society website.. and petfinder.. etc, etc), just to torture myself really. Well today I was on there and of course someone is wanting to give up the cutest bunny ever (because their cat keeps attacking it.. grr), and I just can’t resist. I wish I wasn’t such a sucker for animals. So right now I am REALLY trying to convince BF I need another bunny. He’s not buying it.. He’s right though, it really isn’t the best time. I just can’t help myself.

  I think too many people see cats and dogs as “real pets” and people don’t realize rabbits (and many other pets) actually have feelings too. They see them as being disposible almost. I see that so often, “Oh, we’re getting rid of the rabbit/guinea pig/bird/etc. because the kids are bored of it…”. It’s so sad.

  or why don’t they house the rabbit in another room? i know how you feel, some people frustrate me so much. i try to stay off those sites as much as i can… i always end up getting annoyed by people’s ignorance/ lack of consideration…

  I know that ad, she’s posted a few times. I may or may not have responded rudely to it ….She posted on Dec 26 that she wante to get rid of him, and she got him on the 25-Take him back to the store!!! OMG *head desk*

  I saw that she’s only had him since the 25th. I can’t even believe that. I am seriously considering taking him, but I know bf will say no way.. and what will I do with two unneutered males in my tiny suite? I do have a cage and an x-pen, so I guess it’s feasible. But it will take some major begging haha.
  And what are the chances of bonding two males? Once both of them are neutered of course..

  Someone got a “well thought out” gift for Christmas…They mustn’t have introduce the cat and rabbit properly.

  I know how you feel. I torture myself with those sites too. I don’t know why, but I can’t help it. And then I get sad and I’ve also begged for another bunny but bf says no and that’s probably a good thing because 3 really is enough (my wallet thinks so for sure) and if it wasn’t for him, I’d probably get way too many and have to stop eating.

  I think it’s easier with them neutered, that being said I had two unspayed females who insta-bonded (Kokanee and Kahlua ) OK I’m bad your boyfriends not going to let you on here anymore if we’re talking you into more bunnies
  —-Who was it who said, even though they are spayed and neutered, rabbits seem to mulitiply some how?
  
  Jersey-Last I heard she gave it away It still makes me fume…I saw her a few weeks ago at my friend’s house and she acted like nothing happened…Some people just aren’t able to love animals I guess-only explanation really…

  K&K, you’re going to get me into trouble! Haha.
  BF said no way.. sighh I know he’s right, and he has a good point but it doesn’t mean I can’t still sulk. Haha. If I had my way I’d rescue every unwanted animal. Unfortunately, that could get a bit crowded in my 600 square foot suite.. the x-pen alone takes up half of my living room!
