So I have been thinking for a few months that I wanted to get another bun. Hopfully a friend for Tonks. I was thinking about looking for a lionhead but sometimes things happen for a reason My husband John said a few weeks ago that we should get another mini rex since Tonks is such a good natured bun and the bun I had before Tonks was a mini rex.  Anyway, I told him it would probably be really hard to find another mini rex at a shelter. So a friend of mind that works at our local humane society tells me about this stray bun they got from animal control. She was caputured because she was out running beagles chasing her!!!  So she was either an outdoor bun and escaped or she was released. Poor little thing has had a rough time. They are not sure how old she is but she has never been altered. I went out and met her today and sat in a room and played with her for about an hour.  She’s the sweetest little mini rex!! She was crawling all over me and stretching out to be petted. She chased some little balls and the started running around and doing binkies!!! I just new I had to adopt her!! She’s having her surgery monday so I should get to bring her home on Wed!! I know I have to keep her and Tonks seperated for at least a month after her spay. I have read up and realize it may be very difficult to bond to female buns but I am committed to working with them. I have a pretty big house to keep them seperated if  they absolutley won’t bond. Anyway… enough rambling. I’m just so excited about saving a bun and giving her a forever home!! Her is the pic from the shelter. I will post more after I get her!  I went out and got a matching xpen today to set up next to Tonks!!
