  I have a quick question:
  
  I went to get some greens for the buns and they didnt have romaine, endive or escerole. I got green leaf lettuce is it okay to feed them this?

  absolutely! i printed out the safe veggies list and i keep a copy in my purse. at this point i know most everything that’s safe, but there’s sometimes something that kinda throws me for a loop. i can just whip out my list and double-check…

  Green leaf lettuce is A-O.K.! Stay away from iceberg – it has no nutritional value.
  
  Beka, please tell me you didn’t laminate the list like I did. If so, I’m going to have to start a support group.

  I keep a copy in my purse too, but it’s getting a little scruffed out, but Scarlet – I like the idea of lamination. I could shrink it in size and do that! (if you see me at your support group – now you know why)

  yes, i reduced the size on my printer and printed it out… cut it into two halves and attached front and back to an index card for sturdiness…

  my husband might roll his eyes at me everytime i whip it out of my purse…

  How hilarious. I am always at the grocery thinking, “is this good bunny food?” The lady at the checkout always thinks it’s weird that I only buy a small portion of kale since once it’s cooked down, it shrinks to almost nothing.
  But good idea nonetheless. I might do that too. But I’ll have to admit, it’s kind of dorky.

  Haha, I’m definitely dorky but not as clever as you guys! Wallet sized is such a great idea…I’m going to do that right now. My list is just A4 and is really getting tatty after almost a year of constant referring to it.
  
  A bit later… Not quite sure where to lay the blame but I’m now the proud owner of a wallet sized, laminated safe food list. LOL.

  Awe, that’s sweet Beka! I am now having a dork moment. (sniff) I easily wiped away the tear that dropped onto my list because…it’s laminated!
  
  Aspen and everyone else – becareful…once you laminate, it can get addictive…you start looking at other things and start thinking, “hmmm… I could laminate that!
