Well…. we left the house yesterday around noon.  Got back home 11.  I come in first and see the bedroom gate open. Oh noo we forgot to put it up. I hope Cotton didnt’ chew the cords to my sleepnumber bed.

I look under the bed hand on the shop vac extension tube. No Cotton. I started moving stuff around. and noticed one spot sagging from the box spring.

I put my hand under it to hold it up to see for Cotton and there he was. IN my hand on top of the bottom of the material on the box spring.  OH NOOOO     I ripped the piece off.  Cotton ran off. I kept ripping and finally got to him.  With the papaya in my hand. He pokes his head out to eat it. Then I reach over and slide him out.  Ohhh he was mad. Grunted at me.

He has some nerve. That little rascal.  I put him in his house.  HE was real hungry he must have been stuck in there a while. Hehahaha.

What a rabbit won’t do.  I tell you.

So hubby left a little while ago so I reached under the bed and ripped and pulled the rest of that screen from under the bed out. Along with the weird hands full of that strange stuff like stuffing hanging around under there.

I never told hubby Cotton did that. He would have been mad.   Hopefully that won’t happen again.

We have a Select Comfort Sleep Number bed too.  Ours has a solid bottom foundation with nothing the pets can get up into (it is a solid plastic platform).  Or last beds- ALL of them were missing the fabric under the box springs from the cats getting up into there and the dog squeezing under the bed.

I always worry that the bunnies will mess with the air pump or cords when they are under the bed- hubby would be SO mad.  But fortunately the bed is so light- I can move it to get the buns out of there.

They are both lionheads.  Ruby is pedigreed but looks more like a jersey wooley the way her hair is long all over her body I trim it just so it barely touches the floor when she runs about.

OH Cotton when I first had my bed.  Well…. he chewed the cord to the pressure holder the one you press the buttons on to adjust how much air you want in the bed.  Yes he chewed it in 4 pieces.  Hubby spliced them together real real good.

The wires  are covered by pillows and rugs all over the floor and the one for the hand gadget it is on t sling tubing. But you just never know with buns.

Our bed is up high on top of 2 box springs. I used to have all this stuff flat on the floor so they couldn’t get under the bed but we have a nice 4 poster headboards. The bed has to be attached to them if we are to use them.
