        Hmm whats up with this.

I heard scratching on the wall and looked over to see Cotton humping Ruby. HE had some of her long hair in his mouth too. I managed to pull it out b4 he ate it.

I wonder if that is what is happening to her mane behind her ears.

I did take her to the groomin table and groomed her. Last nite or nite b4 I trimmed her. Cotton has been running from me. But he will come and climb all over me.

I try to hold him like I do Ruby and he wants no part of it. Poor little fellow. Something is certainly bothering him. Having 2 rabbits can be hard. I want to be fair to them all I can’t pet HB without getting those looks from the 2 and I can’t pet Ruby without getting it from Cotton or him running off. I can’t pet Cotton without Ruby wanting some. This is getting tough.

Well I am going to go and hold Cotton and see if he will be happier after getting all this attention.

also he no longer takes food I offer except papaya tablet. He gets his offered first.  Then he realizes Ruby gets some too and won’t eat his. HE runs to his cage and looks for it on his shelf. Hmmm.

I am confused. Whats up with them lately.

My bunnies are doing almost the same thing. She is mounting HIM. A definite change in personality; but she seems to go through this every few months or so.

I think you’re in the process of retraining Cotton to live with the other bunnies, who he clearly likes (at least Ruby). He’s used to your attention, but if you give yourself a break by just ignoring the looks, and continue with the fair share of attention & food to the others, he’ll learn that that’s the way it is now. He gets his pets from you. His food is right there. If he isn’t eating what’s in front of him, it’s his choice. Just don’t let it be his way to train you.

I’d watch the hair pulling though. Make sure he isn’t biting her.

When I came home last nite I noticed some more hair on the floor. I examined Ruby and don’t seem to see or feel any bite marks.

Well Cotton will just have to come with me to the dock and get his one on one there.  Even here I can hold him after I get him to settle down.  Give Ruby attention first then Cotton next..  I think that will work better.

If I give him attention first then he sees me with Ruby He might be mad and stay that way.  The first option seems  better.

It started when I was petting Ruby and he came and climbed on me and went for a horsey ride.  I notice he has been getting this way  more n more.           He is eating in his house and I go pet Ruby then he comes out demanding attention and looking around like whats with this?  Climbing on me etc.    Ohhhhh Cottons.
