Just curious, since she always presents herself to us for pets and takes turns in grooming us as well….does she think we are giant bunnies?!?!

          haha thats a good question!

now that i think about it, when pepper grooms me he usually goes for things that have hair, like my eyebrows or the top of my head! or he will groom my sweater! lol!

In language of lagmorphs they suggest bunnies think that we humans are giant bunnies.

I’m pretty sure Charlie thinks I’m a giant bunny who occasionally tortures him by picking him up and kissing him repeatedly but I’m also equally sure that Layla thinks I’m just a giant pain in the butt! She does groom me though so she obviously thinks we’re equal in the bunny hierarchy whereas Charlie is Supreme Bunny.

            I don’t mind being a giant bunny

Sophie was a rescue and seperated from her litter very young and I swear she doesn’t realize that she’s not a human child. She’s running around perfectly fine in the living room until i get on the phone…then she’s crawling up my leg, sitting in my lap, i can almost hear her “mooooommmmmmy!!!!”. God forbid my boyfriend and I snuggle on the couch and watch a movie….naughty Sophie nudges him and runs and head butts him. I am her mommy and she is an only child. She doesn’t share. So yes, i think your bunny thinks the same way mine does!!!

haha…Boston doesn’t head butt either of us so that is nice!
She will lay in between us and take equal turns at grooming our faces, which is nice…

I don’t mind being a giant bunny either!!!

I think bunnies might be more tolerant of diversity. After all, we enjoy living with other species, so why wouldn’t they be saying “hey, these big humans are OK after all.”

I mean, I’d love to sit and have a chat with a dolphin. Might not want to have his offspring though.
Of course, if a male doesn’t want to mate with ME, he might not want to talk – there’s little or no porpoise.

                        *shaking head and lol-ing* ^^

Also, if he’s male and does want to mate, probably doesn’t want to talk then either.

*thinking to self, why am I even having this conversation, guessing about how this scenario would play out? – and more head shaking*

I think the relationship between you and Boston and your young man is the cutest I have ever seen. You guys are the perfect family! If only my son, daughter and hubby were as close with our bunnies!
Of course, anything Boston does is cute to me, and the picture of her grooming the two of you is so sweet I’m getting cavities! xD
                              I <3 Boston!

(can you tell Boston would be in serious danger of me bun-napping her if I had the chance?) ^_^

Bun-napping Boston would be like an old Pink Panther movie. First one of us would get her, then be jumped from behind by another who ran off with her, then a bush would move and scoop her up mysteriously, then someone pushing a lawn mower would come along and snitch her out of the bush…by now our little beloved Boston would be in Florida. (evil cackle)

Can’t be. Bunny slaves are the only ones in the world that Aren’t Mad.

Turn that big W upside down – and you have “M” for Minnesota.

I know that Pepper does!  She seems to think of me as a large, clumsy, and rather stupid rabbit.

lolz, Pam. Word association is strong tonight. I just remembered the Cheshire Cat: “Oh we’re all mad here. I’m mad, you’re mad…”
