So I’ve been busy harassing people
Ok not really but sort of!
I’ve been responding to peoples ad’s on kijiji.ca where they are selling or giving away their rabbit; Saying I am from a rabbit shelter and is their a specific issue with their rabbit that I could help with so they can keep their rabbit; We are extremely dedicated to helping people keep their rabbits and would be willing to do this completely free.
So far–dun dun dun-TWO rabbits are staying with their owners!! WOOT!!
The man I just spoke with jumped on the chance for help and we had a long conversation about his rabbit and I followed up emailing him the info; Basically he was told the rabbit was neutered but it’s spraying and he’s pretty sure he can see testicles, and it won’t litter train.I gave him lots of info and also where to buy good hay from and changed him from buying wood chips to wood stove pellets (he sounded VERY open to doing the right thing and was very thankful) Oh and he’s getting him neutered!
I’m so pumped LOL
The other lady I helped was a few weeks ago, wanting to give us her rabbit, since she’d just adopted a pair and one had passed away and the other was moping about and she didn’t want to get a new rabbit and do bonding. I gave her some articles on grieving rabbits and suggested a stuffed animal-it worked like a charm and she’s keeping the bunny!!

Dave was grumbling the other night when I brought Guss home to recover from his neuter and I said to him if he couldn’t handle this he needed to get out now, because it’s just going to get much much worse LOL (he said ‘well can you just wear makeup more often LMAO
) So maybe I should get a mask to wear with that cape LOL

oh, whoops and I forgot to write in my last post – good job on your bun-education! That is so great that you do that. I did that a bit a long time ago on Craigslist, but it got a bit too hard for me to handle when I saw how many bunnies out there were in such bad situations, and I encountered so many rude people. So now I just give out advice to people who ask for it
So thank you to you for braving it out there to be a bunny advocate! -
Yay KK!!!!! You’re amazing! In your lifetime you’ll probably save more bunnies than anyone else has!
LOL!!! Ok I just thought of something (a little random)! My sister has this “costume” she used to put on when she was little. She called herself super bunny! Here is what you need for the costume:
(2)Tights
Ballerina tu-tu (sp?)
Cape
Long Sleeved shirtOk, so after you have your shirt and tights on, put the tu-tu on. After that goes the cape. And then the final piece, tie the tights around your head. The result:
ARG!!!

Heheh to set that up I’d need his help! I’m sooo not tech savvy LOL
Soooo I managed to surprise him AND he thinks I’m crazy! LOL
I also froze a picture of a woman to his car windshield and snuck a peice of avacado into his mouth (he doesn’t eat vegetables or fruit)
And he snuck in the shower and dumped cold water on my head
