to get neutered-cuz he’s getting adopted on Sunday WOOT!!

Had to bring the little guy home with me last night to take him to the vets, and he’s probably the craziest rabbit I’ve ever met; He literally would make all other rabbits look like they’re asleep or catatonic. However it’s not nerves at all, he just has tons of energy-no fear in the bunny. So I drive him from the shelter to my home, about a half hour car ride, take the carrier out of the car when I get there and call his name…And he’s dead asleep!!  He woke up when I kept calling him but for such a crazy rabbit to pass out like that-so funny!

Yay! So that’ll be the 2nd adopted so far?  Make sure new owners spread the word!

“Had to” bring Gus home did you? -lol  Hope he goes well.

                LOL Had to definitely

He’s in the office right now recovering-he’s pretty mad at me, bit at my twice to let me know little rascal. I went and got him some papaya and broccoli and gave him some nose rubs and I think he’s forgiven me

He’s our second adoption and Peter is getting adopted this week, and the people fostering Moreland are going to be adopting him as soon as he’s ready for a neuter! I’m very excited!

Wow! You guys are busy bees! ^_^ Glad to hear bunnies are getting their forever homes! But I have to admit, I will miss seeing Guss-Guss on the rescue site.

Happy Homecoming, Guss! (blows kisses) And some for the other buns getting adopted too!

                      I’m pretty pumped!!

One of the buns we’re getting tomorrow from Calgary is apparently ‘aggresive’ and bit one of the staff, so they would not adopt her out and she would be PTS-of course I’m happy to take her.

Dave was pretty funny when I told him about it; He’s like ‘ohhh no-the bite-was it serious enough for a band aid?” heheh I mean I can understand not wanting to adopt out aggressive buns, but seriously it’s not a rotweiler, it’s a rabbit… Oh man, and she’s huge.
I’m quite good with growling nippy buns (if I do say so myself) and I’m sure when she settles in (and isn’t missing her mom dumped in a shelter with dogs barking and cats mewling) she’ll be a totally different rabbit!

Pip will get grumpy and thumpy at the sound of my son’s voice, no matter how quietly he talks, so I can only imagine how unnerved a bun must be in a regular animal shelter. *shudders* Poor thing!

LOL Thanks I’m working on it; I don’t really like the new format, I think it’s a bit hard to navigate for non-internet-savvy folks but at least I can update it myself all the time! I have a few more things to add (like a link to BB shopping gotta sign up for that!) and also a peice about us being ‘green’ (we compost all our bunny waste) and offering our after adoption support-I want all people who adopt to know they can always see us for any little thing!

I dropped off a note for my vet today and hopefully we’ll get a letter from her soon and be on petfinder.com!! I’m so pumped
