I think her markings are just adorable!  And she looks so happy, relaxed and in charge- even after the big move- she was obviously meant to be your bun.

She really does look at ease, like everything is going according to her Plan. She’s beautiful, I love the spot on her tail.

                          LOLOL I love the caption!

Hey, Guys, a quick question: are her back feet sort of funny? I mean, they always meet like that, as if she’s in first position in ballet. Never seen a bunny stand or hop quite like that. Is it OK, or are her legs turning in a bit unnaturally?

And her toes are so furry that I can’t see her nails.

                            LOL!!! Great caption!

Kahlua and most lionheads I’ve seen do that back leg thing-could be she may have some lionhead in her?? Bunnytown and Kim&Darren should weigh in here!!

It probably isn’t normal but if it isn’t affecting how her mobility and behavior I am not sure there is a big problem with it.  Steve had two paws in the front that turn out.  The vet said it is a birth defect and there is nothing she can do about it.  I just have to watch his “thumb” nail because it can get irritated at times.  He also stands on his hind legs a lot to take some of the weight off of them.

It doesn’t seem to affect his willingness to run at full speed around my room,

Awes! (wants to snuggle Sammykins) What an adorable! And WOW! What the heck are you feeding her, Pam??

I set a few captions myself…I was also worried about Fiver’s rear legs when he first came home, which looked like they faced out too far for a long time, but he’s never had a problem with them. And now that he’s ‘filled out’ a bit, you hardly notice the tilt of his feet. Was Samantha cooped up in the store for a long time? She will probably grow out of it, but if it concerns you a trip to the vet can’t hurt.

But, at the same time, her feet prompted the following caption, I hope you don’t mind. She just totally reminds me of a swimmer at the block.

                                          MM,
                                          Love ’em!!!

Her feet have no detrimental impact on her mobility – far from it. And yes, she was in a smallish cage for about 2 weeks (who knows before that) so she’s been stretching them in 500s and binkies ever since she’s been home with me. She doesn’t attempt to jump, and doesn’t have much interest in her cage platform, so I’m watching to see if it’s her nature or if jumping isn’t so easy for her. But she seems incredibly healthy, (if her deep flop sleeps don’t scare me.)

Bigger, I know. I’m feeding her strictly unlimited hay (she eats lots of it), timothy pellets (Bunny Basics-T; I skipped the alphalfa for kids), and AM/PM servings of romaine or green leaf lettuce. Appx. 1/2 cup or less. She has, however, consumed 1/3 of a tasty seagrass matte I got from BB and put down for soft flooring in her house. I think it’s good for her teeth and it’s like hay so why not? She’s not into treats yet, but likes carrot match sticks on occasion – not even daily.

Was going to add that she is so young and sweet that she has no cause for shame yet – but then she got totally under the couch and bypassed my bunnyproofing set up to the cable wires, so has been yelled at this morning. Ah, they grow up fast, but not fast enough to be too big for the small spaces!

P.S. That picture of Steve is the cutest! I love the “Penguin Feet”. Sammykins’ only has turnout with her back feet, not the front, so I’ll watch carefully. I emailed my vet to discuss appointments, but haven’t heard back yet.

Yes, the weight she attains at full growth would be the only thing I would worry about if she still has oddly pointed feet by then, because I’m sure that will probably have an effect on her stance and walking/hopping.

The close up of her face reminds me of one of Pippi’s stink eye shots. ^_^ She seems to be just glaring at you for getting in so tight with that camera lens. lol…

Maybe try lowering the shelf to the lowest possible rung on the pen. That’s what I had to do for Pip, she just couldn’t manage the ramp any other way.
