My rabbits won’t eat regular green or red pepper.   Is it bad for them,  or is just not to their taste?

Besides iceberg lettuce, is their any veggie to NOT give to rabbits?

PS.   I added a comment to the post how much hay should they get.  I explain that my rabbits get fresh oxbow hay,  and talk about Fuzzy’s “dental pockets” that showed up on x-ray.

Any kind of pepper is fine, but not hot peppers of course!

On the list, veggies with Vitamin A should be fed every day. Vitamins high in calcium or oxylates should be fed sparingly especially if your rabbit is sensitive to calcium (ie. has had high calcium pees or bladder sludge before).

Some veggies, like brocolli and brusell sprouts can cause gas and bloat so should be fed carefully.

Off the top of my head root vegetables like potatoes and beets are not ok, iceburg lettuce; Fruits fed as treats should be fed sparingly (1/2 tsp per pound of body weight. Greens are best!
