  Today (Nov 29 ) it has been I whole year since my Jersey came to live with me! I like that I have an exact date for this where as her birthday is just estimated.
  
  It has been an enlighting year and very, very bunny orientated! Full of learning, laughter and surprises. One of those surprises has been the discovery of BinkyBunny.com. A place full of very useful information and education and best of all ~ Bunny People! Thank you all for enriching my experience of having a house rabbit. Your support and friendship was not something I expected and am so very grateful for.
  
  So from Jersey and myself “CHEERS TO YOU ALL!”
  
  I am working on uploading some pics and maybe even a tiny video, but you must be patient as I’m finding it all tricky!

  OK! Hope this works… I’m attempting to use photobucket to upload pics and a 10 second video (yes, 10seconds!) of Jersey a few days after I got her. It was taken in a phone so it’s really only a snapshot but all I’ve got for now.
  
  EDIT: Photobucket and I are not getting along! I will attempt video upload when we’ve both had a chance to calm down. Meanwhile……

  Left pic is taken bit further away but you get general idea how she’s grown! The little brown tiles in the fire place surround help with the scale.
  
  Sorry bout picture quality, they’re all from an old phone. They all have bunny species in them so I’m sure you’ll forgive me.

  I’m going crazy! Couldn’t figure out how my pic ended up on Cassi post!!!! Then I saw video too!! So I’ve figured she was checking my pre-edited post above and has helped me out (or got sick of waiting for me to get it sorted! LOL!). Ah, that video was hardly worth the trouble or grey hairs but thanks all the same Cassi!

  I love the before-and-after! I have her baby pic in my head for her, because it was your avatar for so long, but she’s SO MUCH BIGGER now, isn’t she?! She was such a little fluff-ball…

  she was an adorable baby- but I love her ears in her adult picture. She looks so alert but utterly adorable! I love lops and then the extreme- big perky ears! (Of course tiny little Netherland dwarf ears are cute too….) Ok, well I guess all bunnies are cute- but loppy ears and big, wide perky ears are my favorite. What breed is she?

  Julie, I don’t know Jersey’s breed. I posted her pic to someone more knowledgable not long ago. She thought a Flemish/mini lop cross bit like Priscilla of HERR fame. She said American Flemish – is that different to Flemish Giant or just an alternate name? Anyway, she also thought a bit of English Spot in there too, which I had thought also. Who really knows!

  Sorry Jerseygirl bout reposting your stuff! I did get impatient and BB home page told me you’d gone offline so I thought Oh no, I have to wait until tomorrow?
  Then when you reposted it again, I’d already done mine & for some reason I can’t edit the thing! I’m so confused.
  
  She’s so beautiful, and like Katnip saiid, very alert. She’s so sweet. I want my own Jersey.

  Oh don’t worry Cassi! I had the post open for editing for AGES – while I was editing on photobucket too. I forget people can still see the thread. I submitted it prematurely to see if the photos worked so it must have looked like a train wreck.
  
  Oh and leave the excuse of a video anyway coz I can’t post it obviously!

  No wonder I couldn’t guess what breed Jersey is… I am not great with breeds anyway. I guess she was “created” just for you- you have a one of a kind!
  
  I can’t believe that in January it will have been a year for Cotton. I feel the same way you do- it was an impulse thing, I do know better, but I also don’t give up either- and it was just meant to be. If someone had told me I would leave the store with a rabbit I would have laughed, and when I saw they were serious, I probably would not have went into the store. But one look at her face and it was a done deal. She had 2 littermates in another cage and I barely glanced at them after setting eyes on her.

  That’s it exactly! ^^ I now avoid pet stores! I have seen a couple in one and just left feeling upset. If I have to go to one to buy accesories etc I avoid looking but I’m really torn. I sort of want to see but afraid at same time!
  
  Jersey was in a big oval surround with big sleepy cashmere lops and guinea pigs. She was only one there like her, she was bright eyed and perky.
  
  Speaking of cashmere lops, forgot to make special mention of Twinkles! He was a bun I found wandering at the end of my street one night (pre Jersey). I had him for 3 days before owners saw my Found notices. I kept him indoors and was really fascinated. I guess he lead me to discovering about house buns even thou he wasn’t one. He was for 3 days at least! Thanks Twinkles where ever you are!

  Well thank ya anyway I did acknowledge the 2nd anniversary in the Original Rabbit thread that was recently in Lounge. I don’t know her actual birthdate so I acknowledge her homecoming day more so.

  Oh, now I have to go back and re-read the Original Rabbit thread. Maybe that planted a subliminal thing in my brain that made me think of this thread lol. Who knows?!
