maybe a lionhead mix? it’s hard to really see the hair from that angle… but i think normally they have longer hair on top and bigger ears.

regardless, he is adorable! he does look annoyed getting his pic taken… lol!

How old is he? Is he all grown up or just a baby?

                  Totally funny bug-eyed look…

Thanks! The hair is only a little longer on the head. I thought he was a mix with a lionhead but wanted to see whats yous thought of him. The people i got him from knew NOTHING about him. They hadnt had him for very long and got him from someone else who didnt have long. So i dont know how old he is. When i take him to the vet they can estimate right?  He doesnt really like me yet! Doesnt bite but i guess hes just not comfortable yet.

The vet can estimate to some extent, I believe…they should at least be able to tell you if he’s a baby or an adult.

If you just got him, he’s probably just confused and a little nervous. He’ll learn to love you if you just keep working with him!

I think the vet might have a hard time estimating age.  Cats and dogs have baby teeth and then adult teeth- so we can determine age by looking at stage of teeth – if baby- which ones are in, if adult which ones are in and how much wear.  But bunnies teeth are always growing and they do not have baby teeth that they lose, and it would be hard to estimate based on size without knowing breed/ or mixed breeds even.

What a cutie though- is Pancake solid chocolate colored (that is what the pic looks like)?

as far as age i think they can estimate general stage of life, like if he’s a baby, young adult, or senior rabbit? i’d say from the pic he looks like he’s probably anywhere from a year to 2 years old. did the peiople say how long they had him, that might help you determine his age at the very least… if they had him 9 months, he’s at least 11 months old, etc…
