Thought you might be interested in this article.

This kitten was born in Perth Western Australia about 4 days ago. They are not sure if it will survive.

        Crossing everything that he does.

The vet is the one I go to and he is really good.

Haven’t read the article, (downloading it now and slow as heck..grrr) but just the title was enough to make me sad. Honestly, it is better that he is at the Bridge now. The life of a creature that is so malformed is probably not a happy one. No more than any other disability that alters the quality of life.
Rest in peace little kitten. (hugs)

I think if their quality of life is good and they don’t suffer then it is ok. You see some Samese twins survive.

But mother Nature knows best and that was the best thing for this poor little darling.

I went looking out of curiousity to see if there have been any two headed kittens that lived to adulthood, and it seems that most of the ones I found died as kittens. I did however find one adult:

That is amazing, from what I have read it is most unlikely that they survive.

Aw, that is so sad. Poor little kitty.

I seen a two-headed calf once when I went on a visit to the vet university a few provinces over. He died soon after, very young too. It’s so sad, but Mother Nature knows best I guess in these situations.
