a stairway, and memories

I found this beautiful little poem last night in a magazine ad. It’s written on the back of a pendant.  I found it really touching and it made me cry because I thought of everyone I’ve lost in the last few years, bunny, cat and human. I’m going to frame the poem and put it beside the urns of my beloved Velvet and Vanilla Bean and I’m also going to put it in the newspaper as a memorial to my Dad who died 4 years ago next week.
