Was inspired to start new thread from MimzMums post in another thread. I’ve pasted it below.
What Nicknames/Pet names do you have for you bunnies????????
Posted by MimzMum 18 Nov 2008 in Lounge “What’s in a name?”
Hogeeze…how many nicknames do I have for each of my bunnies?? 0_o
Mimzy: Mimz, (we used to call him Madame) Mim, Mimzity-moo, Bunbun, Sweetie, Cuteh Bun, Queedy-boi (Sweetie-boy), Funneh Bunneh, Pork Bun, Fluffbucket, Hareball….
Pip: Pipsqueak, Pipcicle, Pipkin, Pippicus Rex, Pippi, Pippity-poo, Pippi-Dippi, Pippity-doo-dah, Princess, Bigwig, Pooflah, B-Pants McCrabby…lolz…. (you have to have watched Red vs. Blue to understand that one, I’m not going to spell it out)
Fiver: Fivah-Five, Widdle-bun, Hrairoo Minimus Rex, Spazz Bun, Zoombini, and assorted variations of some of the generic names that I jotted down for Mimzy….
Yup…and each time I come up with a new song for them, we get a whole load more. Yeesh.
LOL, that is a lot of names. But Jerseygirl, you didn’t post your nicknames for Jersey!
Charlie – Wazzy-mooz (don’t ask), My Little Man, Baby BubBub BunBun, Mr Mooz, Charlie Mooz, Smoozywoozy BunBun, White face & *Charlie-no-you-can’t-have-my-peanut-butter-toast-bunny*.

Te he! They are great! It’s like a whole other language. I was getting back to posting……I am multi-tasking!
Ok, Jersey is otherwise known as Bubby, Muppet, Jers, Ratbag, Mischief….sure there’s more but can’t recall. They just pop out don’t they?!
Bosty-Wosty
Baby bunners
Baby
Gorgeous
Beautiful
When I’m mad at her, it seems her middle name is Massachusettes, cuz thats what comes out…”BOSTON MASSACHUSETTES! GET DOWN FROM THERE!” LOL!
I know we call her more than that, but I’m blanking! They’ll come to me!
lol!!!! nice cassi&charlie! i like those extended version names!
As for Felony… His full name is Felonious Marshall… His nicknames are numerous:
Fel
Felogna Bologna (pronounced Felonee Bolonee)
Stinky Butt
Fel Fel
Bologna Butt
Baby Boy…
lolz. Jerseygirl, I love “Ratbag”! lmao! For the longest time, my Griffy-cat was called “Ratboy” by my husband. It is the name he uses for any animal he doesn’t take an immediate liking to.
All my bunnies are called “Bunloaf” when they are lounging. Or “Loaf O’ Bun”…very Irish. ^_^
I always call Pookie either Pookie Bear or Pookie Monster
Hooper is always Hoopie, Big Boy or Hoopie Monster
Carrera is always Sweet Pea, Carrera Bear or Baby Girl
Cooper is always Big boy, Mama’s baby boy
And I have no idea why I use the word monster lol
Let’s see.. Frankie has plenty and it’s nearing 3 am here, so I probably won’t think of all of them:
Common ones:
-Bobie (pronounced bow-bee)
-Bunny-bun (he comes when I call this)
-Bunji
-Frankiebun
-Fuzzy-bum
-Bunjily wunjily (thanks to my boyfriend, ha!)
-Pork chop (when he’s laying with his legs to the side)

Kay – Kay Bay, Kay Bun and Pretty Girl
Winston – Big Guy, Little Man and Win Bun
My husband will come home and call out “Hi Bun Buns.” (to the bunny’s) and “Hi Hun Bun.” (to me)
Yep, Fatty seems to be an appropriate one..we call boston that too.
and DC–stands for Double Chin!!!
and last night I realized I call her Little Baby Boston Bunners…..
LOL!!
Rupert is Poopert
Kahlua is Trouble or stomper
Collectively they are stinkers “Stiiiiiiiinnnkeeeeeeeeerss…. Where are you? Stiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinkkeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers….”
you guys are crazy!
Meadow is:
Meadow E. Bunny
Meadowey
Mead
Meadow E. Bunny-Moo
Baby Girl
Schnookums
Mead O EEE (emphasis on the O and EEE!)
Exerbunny (she loves to climb on our new treadmill)
Max is:
Maxie Moo
Maxie
Baby Boy
the Cautious One
Cautious Hopper (reminds me of an native american name like Runs With Wolves or something)
collectively they are called:
the buns
the kids (or just kids. “it’s dinnertime, kids!”)
the rabbits (Mike says this mostly)
BUNNIES! (i walk in their room and proclaim “BUNNIES!” like i’m kinda shocked they’re in there. don’t ask me why… lol)
Maxiemeadow (one word)
Meadowmax (also one word)
you know… nothing too outrageous. i’m sure there are more that i can’t even think of right now. strange things are always falling out of my mouth in regards to them.
Haha, beka – the shouthing “Bunnies!” thing – I do it too, but to my guinea pigs. I always walk in and shout “PIGGIES!!!” but it started out because they’re really skittish and it was hilarious to yell it and see them run…
oh good Rachel! i’m glad i’m not the only one! lmao!
Pepper is called
Most common:
Pepper
Pepperbun
Pep
Bunners
Baby bunner boy
and also sometimes:
Sargeant
Sargeant pepper
sarge
colonel mustard (this is what my friend calls him)
I do that too, Beka, when I come home from work. In the early morning it’s still dark when I need to go through their room several times so I try to tiptoe. If I wake them up, it’s payback on Sat. morning when I want to sleep late. I hear that noisy baby toy being rolled off the different levels.
The lovely Pringles is also 2 years old and here’s how her names have changed over that time……
Sweet Baby, cutie, Come here sweetheart, ouch stop that, don’t chew that, bring that back, NO DON”T PEE THERE!, Get down, #$^^##, You are NOT having babies!, Leave the boys alone, poor baby, take it easy girl, sweet baby, cutie, come here sweetheart……..
can you tell where in the timeline she got spayed?
Kathy
You mean every one doesn’t “proclaim “BUNNIES!” like i’m kinda shocked they’re in there.”
I’m sure Scooter will remember other things that we call them but for the most part the only real nicknames we have are for Bailey – sometimes he’s our little Baileybun, and sometimes we just call him marshmallow boy.
– Annette
Drue is: Drueby Druebers, Drueby Druebersons, Drooby Drooby Droo (scooby dooby dooooooO!!) Drue boy, bunny bear cos he looks like a bear with bunny ears on, Pretty boy and big boy and the kids just call him Druebee Drue
sometimes we sing “I’m a drueby druebers, you’re a drueby druebers, we’re all drueby druebers drueby drueby druebers, that’s me” ..I forget what the real song is..it was from sponge bob I think though..but in my head it’s always with the drue words. oohhhhh “goofy goober” is what it actually is.
Tucker is: Tucky bun buns …that’s what Lucas my two year old calls her, Princess Tucker buns, “the president”, Queen Tucker of Tuckerdom and Tucky Tuck and the funky bunch…Bunny bunny bun buns (another name Lucas calls her)then all the generic pretty girl, baby girl, princess and diva bunny oh and Princess fussy pants when I am trying to get her condo clean and she’s chasing after me like “what are you doing with that?? where is that going??? hey wait don’t take that!”
We call her “the president” or “mrs. President” because when she’s in the kitchen and we are bringing her back to her condo we wrap the gate around her and as she walks we scurry it along and it takes two of us to do it so we call it the secret service and we’re ushering the president back to her home. LOL it’s much funnier to see because she looks around like “you guys got my back right??” LOL yea we’re weird.
She sometimes gets perturbed by it though and looks at Drue like “how come he just gets to walk and I am stuck in this thing????” LOL ahh Tucker
Tucker… lmao!!! seen that movie a gazillion times! l ol. clever doing it with Drue…
LOL that’s it…gooby goobers! ..I dislike sponge bob but I can remember hearing it when I guess it was Shaina that was watching it.
Everytime I walk into the room I yell out BUNNIES! No matter what time it is, no matter if I can see them….it’s my way of saying “honey/bunnies I’m home”
Love how Beka call US crazy but she posts this….
“Mead O EEE (emphasis on the O and EEE!) “—-LOL!!!!
I love the song Tucker!!!! My boyfriend does a little cheer sometimes (don’t tell him i told you…):
“B-O-S-T-O-N!!!!!!!!!!! Boston!!!! Say it again!!!!!!”
Yup-we’re all nutters……
Oh I definitely shout out to the bunnies when I arrive in the room…they must be so sick of it by now. >.< I just use a sing-song voice and ask, "Whar's meh leetle bunnyehs?" Oy. Like they moved or suddenly became invisible or something. I am so sick. xD
I also noticed I tend to adopt a warped Italian accent and call Fiver my “Sweety-Leetla-Bonny” for some stupid reason. Don’t know how that one came up.
lolz…Rachel…”BUNGEEE!” ^_^ I think I’ve used that on more than one occasion. Probably when Mimzy was taking a header out of his night pen for some blueberries.
Cotton has been called “Binks”, “Binkers”
Penny has been “Pen-Pen” and Bunners and a-DORA-ble (her name was previously Dora)
and collectively they are Bun-Buns (or when there was just Cotton my husband always greeted her saying “Hey Bun Bun”.) I think he does this more so he does not have to remember their names (even though he helped pick the names out).
My bf thinks I”m an absolute nut because of the many, wacky nicknames my buns have (although I see I’m not alone )
Whenever I walk in the room, I say “Hello, Everybunny”!!!!!
Okay, nicknames:
Stormy: Senor, The Terror, Poopy Pants, Stinky, Peanut Man (I find his head looks like a shelled peanut ), Wackally Wabit, Brat (he has the most because I’ve had him the longest)
Bindi Loo: The Loo, Woo Woo, Lullabelle, Puffy Guy
Olivia: Princess, The Pointer, Pointy Pants, Little Fart
After all the talk about us calling our bunnies “fatty” I realized that I forgot one of my favorites for Frankie:
FABBIT! (it’s a mix of fat + rabbit and it happens to sound rude so it’s golden to me)
Oh, so many gems in there I can’t mention them all! So I don’t yell “Bunnies” or rather “Bunny” when I come in the room….am I weird? Reading bout that reminds me of this thou>>> au.youtube.com/watch
I have to bring it back – I think it’s hilarious! “Bunnn——ehhhhhhh!” LOL
I call out when I go in in the morning so I won’t scare them. I call bunny bunny bumpkins.
As I have 7 rabbits I call them names as a group.
Little devils
Darlings
Sweetie pies
My Little Muchkins
Little pains in butt (when they destroy everything)
Georgeous
I can’t believe Boston as her own cheer squad!
Cassi&Charlie…my boyfriend would be pissed if he knew i told you guys that!!!!
Lisa….Little Devils and Sweetie Pies….on different ends of the spectrum!!!!
I love this thread!
My personal favorite thus far is Jerseygirl’s “Ratbag”!
Lizzy’s full name is:
Miss Lizzy Prissy Bits
so her nicknames include
Miss Lizzy
Miss Priss
Liz-bits
Miss Bits
Her Lizzyness
Lizzy-Diva-Bunny
Lizzy-Demon-Bunny
The SRU (Supreme Ruler of the Universe)
Princess Lizzy-pants (I don’t know where the pants-part came from…)
And of course Binky-Bunny when she’s doing acrobatics…
and the much more ordinary baby girl, honey bunny, my pretty-pretty-princess, bitsy-bunny-girl, and many other variations I can’t think of right now.
When I first called Lizzy “Miss Lizzy,” the BF was horrified. “Did you just call your rabbit MISS Lizzy?! She gets a TITLE now?!” This earned him the double-stinkeye (from both me and her), and he now addresses her with the proper respect that she deserves (“And how is Miss Priss today?” I don’t think he’s being sarcastic…)
Robbie’s full name is
Robbie Greybun Underfoot (a little hobbit-like…he has huge hairy feet like a hobbit! I thought it was appropriate…)
His nicknames are much fewer than Lizzy’s:
Mr Greybun
Shadowbun (he’s shadow-colored, and virtually silent when he cruises around–thus the getting stepped on, thus the “Underfoot”)
Robbie-Rabbit
Unfortunately, his most recent nickname is Butthead, cause that’s what he’s been lately..
SIDE-TOPIC:
If your bun had a SuperHero Name/Power, what would it be?
Robbie’s, obviously, is Shadowbun–he moves with quiet stealth like a shadow.
I’m not sure what Lizzy’s would be. I think her power would be assuming that everyone will do her bidding…and magically, they do! Princess Lizzy-pants, indeed.
Thanks LC, for reviving the thread. It was fun reading everyones posts again!
mmm…Super Buns….I think Jersey could be Stunner Bun, she would stun her adversaries with a deft kung-fu style kick to the head. She could possibly star in a remake of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
Another super hero persona could be Swooper Pooper – she would aim missiles at the enemy as she was coming in to land. I was inspired by the Skywalker thread for that one!
Beka,
My exclamation is always “There’s a Bunny in my House!!!”
Jerseygirl,
To come full circle, Herself and I just moved into the apt. yesterday, and she’s napping in this room while I pretend to get ready for work.
She seems to still be Samantha Bunnykins, so that’s decided now.
She’s also: Bunny (as in Hello Bunny)
Cutie Patootie
Cunnin’ Bun
Pretty Girl
(and I am stopping myself 20 times a day from calling her Spockie.)
Oh I forgot my favorite nickname for Felony! Falafel Waffle or just Falafel…. I love my fatty bun!
Pacey
Pacey Face
Frito (don’t know how that started)
Little dude
Mr. Buns
Squirt
Nibbler
Brat
Kitty (my baby cousin is convinced he is a cat)
Monkey
Einstein
Sweet Face
Hmm I’m not sure what their super bunny NAMES would be but I do know their powers!
Drue…if dinner/breakfast/snack/hay refill is late he has been doing the dead bunny flop. He really seems to have figured out that it makes me come running..then once I am there he’ll run up to his dish and stare at it..and I of course..the obedient bun slave that I am…go and fill it with something for thim! So his dead bunny flop is definitely his super hero…he’s just so darn good at it.
Tucker’s is the death glare. You can almost FEEL her eyes on you from across the room when she’s mad.
Layla would be a spider-bun! Climbing up walls to get onto the bench and reach the fruit bowl.
Charlie would be stealth-bun, he moves at lightning speed with no noise. It’s terrifying sometimes because I’ll see him at the window 5m away and when I turn around to walk away, he’ll be sitting calmly in front of me, staring at me *shivers* creepy bun.
Pepperoni: Peps, Peppiss, Pepperoni Pizza Boy, Pepperidge Farm, Pepper Spray, Oni, Onacious, Pepper Onayshee.
Fuzzy: Fuzz-cakes, Fuzzmeister, Fuzzississ. Kuker, Kukiss, Cookie Monster, Kooger, the Koogs.
Boston–teleportation…..
As she’s standing at my feet by the fridge….”hey weren’t you JUST in the living room????”
Pip – Not a super power, but I think she would be like Gnorga, the Queen of Mean (Troll in Central Park)
Mimzy – The Invisible Man
Fiver – who else but, THE FLASH of course! ^_^
(and I am stopping myself 20 times a day from calling her Spockie.)
Aww Spockie! I bet he’s ever present now you’ve got Samantha.
Recently when I had a friends dog, plus had walked my sister dog to my place and of course Jersey. I found myself mixing all their names up. My siblings and I used to laugh at Mum when she’d stumble over the beginnings of our names until she got the right one! I understand it better now! lol
Wouldn’t a great super power be a reverse animagus / humanagus. Like in Harry Potter they can turn into animals, what if rabbits could turn into humans? You could sit and have a conversation and learn all the mysteries of being a rabbit.
Bunnykins, My girl, My baby, My baby girl, My special girl, Ferny Fern Fern, Little bunny froo froo, My one-and-only, Sweety-Pie, the list goes on…..
I seem to emphasize the fact that she is a girl in her nicknames because she is the only girl pet we have, all the others are boys or unknown (fish)
Well apparently our little Keelie is an escape artist.
We don’t have a “top” as such on our big bunny condo – instead we have 2 pieces of 2’x4′ wood that mostly covers it, except for about 1.5″ along the front and back. We were out of town last week and bunny sitters (my cousin and her girl) told us that they came to check on them one day and Keelie was ON TOP of the condo. The condo is about 5 feet tall. The only way she could have gotten up there is through one of the little gaps in the wood on top.
So I’m not sure what her superpower would be. Obviously she can squeeze herself really thin and squish into impossible places.
– Annette
Hehehe….Annette, sounds like you have a “Bun-dini” there! ^_^ Or perhaps in a past life she studied with those Himalayan Yogis who can squeeze themselves into little glass boxes 1/3 their size and shut down all bodily functions for hours on end!
Pam…lolz….”Hello Bunny! Play with us today!” (I absolutely ADORE Hello Kitty…hence the name of our resident stray.) I really like how you call Samantha, “Herself”…somehow it is so fitting. Definitely the way some folks refer to royalty.
“There’s a bunny in my house!” lolz…Sound like Woody in Toy Story, “There’s a snake in my boot!” ^_^ It gives me great joy to hear that you say that. (about the bunny, not the snake)
Jerseygirl, you have no idea how many times I wish my bunnies could do just that…but OH the tongue lashing I’d be taking from Pip! 0_o Fiver would be running around me and asking where the treats were and if we could play with the toys and how many days till Christmas and is there any more coffee…? xD Mimzy would be sitting there in his Buddha Bunny pose and I’d get a non-committal, “Whatever…” rotfl
collectively mine can be ‘the girls’, bun bun, honey bun fuzzy wuzz, smelly bun, squishy squish or stinky.
pinky… pinky poo
baby… baby bun, baby girl
Mimz you crack me up! I love your personas of your buns as humans!!
Jersey girl–just today i as wishing that Boston knew how to work a cell phone…i as bored in class and wanted to text her! lol!!!
Allenj, I get like that. When I’m home my bf will video call me on his mobile & ask to speak with the bunnies lol, and I always do the same thing back, especially when I’m away from home for a few days! If only they could video call me without help!
ahaha this thread is too fun. I’m glad we’re not the only ones with a hundred pet names for our pets.

my friend came over yesterday with her 8 week old pug puppy. poor thing still has no name so we literally scoured the baby name sites for hours looking for the perfect name. after awhile i started calling her “baby bunny”… she’s seriously 3 pounds, smaller than Meadow even. that morphed into pug-bunny, then punny… so her new nickname is the baby punny!
If you named her today, you could call her Pugsley on Wednesday.
So I’ve remembered some more….or at least ones I’ve been using last few days.
Bubs, Scalliwag, Little Scamp and Cheeky Chops.
Ever just feel like opening an old thread to make people go….hmmm…..????
lol, but really, just realized that I call Boston “Bubba” ALL the time!!!! haha I think its cuz we call her baby and that turns into bubba! she kinda looks like a bubba….haha
oh yeah and sugarsnap….no idea why!
Haha! Coinky – dink!(I love that term…) Today I was thinking about this thread or starting a new one. Along the lines of “What should your bunny have been called” etc. I call Jersey “Bubby” ALL THE TIME! Also, today I was thinking I should have named her Cheeky Bugger!”.
