Well as you all know, Layla gets pretty clever when it comes to jumping up onto high places.

She’s quite the daredevil jumper and she always will find a way onto the bench or up to high places that may hold a fruit bowl.
I rearranged my whole dining area so that her previous dining table-bookshelf-NIC condo-bench route was destroyed.

This morning I was reading on my couch and suddenly I hear a huge crash. There’s Layla on the bench, a whole lot of stuff from the bench was on the floor, and the hay bin was knocked over with Charlie happily ensconced inside eating the hay.

She’d jumped on top of the hay bin and sprang up to the bench, scrabbled her way on and was happily hopping towards the fruit bowl. Little rat! And in doing the ‘spring’ she’s knocked the lid off the bin & Charlie had happily started muching away. The thing that gets me is that it’s a Starmaid bin, with a normal round lid, not flat so how she balanced on top of it is unknown.

Now that hay bin has been there for at least 5 months, so well before she arrived, so what finally made her go “Hmm, that’ll work” is beyond me but once again I’ve been outsmarted by a bunny.

Wow, Pepper & her should be friends. With Maryann they could take over the world.

                    Ahh.. the crazy bunny routes.

                    Let’s see, Frankie has:
-Pillow to shelf to windowsill to top of his cage (where there are hay and hay cubes, treats, etc. most of the time)
-Ottoman to seat cushion to armrest to sidetable to buffet (where delicious candles and greeting cards await to be eaten and antique wood awaits to be stratched up by bunny toes)
-Ottoman to seat to armrest to (a leap across to) the top of the dining room table (I can’t even keep my purse there anymore!).

He also has an obsession with anything in plastic wrapping at the hope there will be food in there. He pulls random stuff out of my purse and backpack… bags of elastics for my braces, wrapped feminine products, packages of business cards…

Ohhh those are some little devils.

I put the hay container by the dining table.  Cotton and Ruby like to lie on top of it.  When I am eating Cotton knows Papaya is coming.  So I see his little face as he stands on his hind legs begging.  He can’t get on the table cause the edges are curved and slippery.             At least for now.

Ruby well she opened the xpen door  and they both run over to the place under the window to explore there. That spot is like a magnet for them.   When I realize they are out I go over there and they know they run back to their living room.

The xpens I have one placed around the computer and down hubby’s couch.  (he now takes over my couch now)   Then another one from the back of the stove to the first xpen  I don’t hook them together cause we wouldn’t be able to pass comfortably through there.

I will never forget my little Cotton he used to jump onto my sewing table and pull the pins out of my pin cushion.

I love to hear your stories of their mischief.  It is so funny.  Probably not to y’all having to constantly try to outsmart them.

Your bun actually goes through your purse Oh wow. Thats something.

It’s really bad when one distracts you while the other gets up to something!!
