  As most of you know I landed the perfect job as a Property and Exhibits Officer for the Police Dept.
  
  I started in February and it was a contract position. The previous person has since left the job and now they have to advertise the position.
  
  They want me to have it but they also have to go by the correct procedures.
  
  The interview is tomorrow Perth time and I have an interview at 12.20pm. I am so nervous as I have never been to an interview with a panel of 3 Police Officers.
  
  I just need your good luck vibes if possible.

  Sounds like they want to hire you they just have to go through the paperwork and procedures. You should do fine. Vibes coming your way too.

  I know what you mean … those interviews for the public sector are awful as … did you have to address the selection criteria … what a load of bull they are … I have also been for some interviews myself and addressing the written part is a job in itself.
  
  I generally dot some points down … short description ones addressing what are my three most strong points. That way at the end of the interview if they ask if you’d like to add anything else … you can mention these or at the time of the interview you can add these points where appropriate.
  
  Also think of examples to address the criteria at the interview … short and sweet is always best … don’t babble on.
  
  If you want to call me you are most welcome … I may be able to offer some suggestions or perhaps you can help me too.

  Ha! Dawn, that made me laugh! My sister has been a public servant 10+ years. She takes time off when she does batch of job applications. It’s funny to hear all the swearing, muttering and stomping coming from the office

  Lots of good jobs ****vibes**** for ya Lisa! I’m sure you’ll do GREAT! I think that if they really want you to have the job, they’ll have questions designed especially for you and it won’t be as bad as you think.

  I finished the interview, and all went well. There was a panel of 3 two of them I know. They made me feel comfortable. I felt like I did a good job.
  
  Thanks everyone for your support. Thanks Dawn I should of put this on BB earlier for some extra tips from you. Just realized you would be experienced at this.
