        I’m all nervous now…the lady at the desk of course sounded like an idiot but she just answers phones and I have met the dr so I know I shouldn’t be worried but I am!!

        It’s not until the 18th, that’s the first appt they had available.  So..now we just wait until then.  Which means then after her spay and her recuperation time we  probably won’t start bonding until after Christmas.

              Why isn’t he onboard for her to be spayed?  Is he just nervous about it?

                I think it may be cultural.  He doesn’t believe in altering what God gave them.

                      Thinking of Tucker for the spay Healthy healing and great spay day {{ VIBES}}

                      BT if your hubby finds out could you say that she had an abscess and required surgery? Does he know enough about buns, or could you sneak it by him that something happened and you had to take her for surgery?

                        The nice thing about NOT doing it on a Friday is that the vets office has regular hours for the next couple of days afterwords (the 18th is a Tue- so you aren’t facing a weekend immediately afterwords).

                        I wonder what Drue will think of the new “improved” Tucker that will be coming home afterwords.  From what I remember she is the more dominant and territorial one.  Of course it sounds like you are more than ready for Tucker to join the “low hormone bunny” club!  I was eager to be done with the hormone related behavior when I had Cotton spayed.  I knew there was a reason baby bunnies are so cute, because they are such naughty teenagers!

                          for that reason, i am a big fan of scheduling way in advance. i know you were unsure money-wise, but i feel that if you already have the date set (even if it’s 2 or 3 months down the road), you are more apt to “make sure” the money is available on time.
