We just came home, and as we turned onto our street, I saw something dash across the road. I was surprised when I realized it was a bunny (haven’t seen any strays/wild rabbits around here before). Then I thought to myself, “that looks a lot like Yoshi…”

We rushed inside to check, and of course both our bunnies were happy in their cages… phew! But now I’m wondering if there’s anyway I can rescue that poor little bun running around out there. It looked like he ran into our next door neighbor’s backyard, but the houses are pretty close to each other around here and I’d be surprised if he stays in one yard. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for him in the mornings and evenings though.

I caught a stray bunny. You’d want to ensure it’s not a wild bunny-they don’t need to be messed with-as tempting as it is to leave hay or treats for them, you don’t want to mess with mother nature…
A stray on the other hand….
Get some friends to help, correl the bunny just like you would if you were having a hard time in your house, use some plywood etc. to fence off areas and chase him in there, then use a towel to catch the bunny.

Or just fill a cat-carrier with greens and watch him hop in…that worked for me!

            (Mine’s a piggy, though!)

And I think Robbie lured you to him rather than the other way round. He’s adapted so well to being a housebunny & now has a sexy bunny girlfriend…makes me suspicious….

are you sure it wasn’t a wild bun? is it possible in the dark that he looked domestic but wasn’t?

i guess keep an eye out, if you see him again in the daytime you’d be able to better make the call if he’s in fact domestic…

Of course, if I see him again and he turns out to be wild I’ll just leave him alone. He didn’t look like wild rabbits I’ve seen in the  past though.
