Thanks guys! ^_^ Yeah, she does remind me of Nala. And the stinkeye seems to be her permanent look…like I told Lightchick, Lizzy’s face is going to freeze that way, just wait and see. xD
My daughter is currently completely into “Wicked”. I think she just got the book and I want the next one that is about the Cowardly Lion. My daughter loves the soundtrack from the Broadway show.
Odd set of coincidences, (which I don’t believe in, btw), my daughter is very taken with anything to do with the Wizard of Oz. She used to bring Frank Baum books home from the library in kindergarten…she couldn’t read them, but would sit for hours going over all the pages.
She and my stepmom, who was also a Judy Garland fan and loved WOO because she was from the Midwest herself, both have the exact same number of letters in both their first and middle names. This was not something I planned when I picked my daughter’s name, it just wound up that way.
They also have a lot of the same tastes. I think they are both deathly afraid of spiders. And my daughter used to have a horrible fear of death and would have panic attacks related to a fear that when she died there would be nothing there. Now we’ve managed to calm that fear over the years, but she still has it and it reminds me of the ‘dream’ I had the night my stepmom passed away (which I discussed in another thread in the Lounge). I sometimes wonder if my daughter isn’t channeling my stepmom! ~_~
Anyhoo…yeah, some strange things with no explanations. ^_^ But even though Pip wasn’t “formally” dressed for Halloween, it still worked out really well. We did a few others, but this was the best. One of them had the caption, “What? They’re MUNCH-kins, right?” And we tried to put some little stockinged feet dangling from Pip’s mouth, but it didn’t come out at all, so we trashed it. lol…..
One of the other captions was, “Don’t make me break out my flying carrots!”. xD
