THUMPING! Hammer has taken to thumping when he is in trouble lol.  I have a tone i say “Hammer no!” in when he is naughty, and he knows the tone and what it means! And he knows what happens if he doesnt stop and back away from the tempting object, he is sent to his cage without a treat. Like a kid sent to bed without dinner lol, but of course its just a small time out and i just with hold a treat, not dinner. But anyways, now when i yell at him, he still listens and runs from the temping carpet, book, hamper etc. But when he gets away, to where ever he was headed too, HE THUMPS AT ME!  Its like he absolutely positively must have the last word lol. It didnt really bother me for a few days but now its annoying. “Ill listen to you ma, but I will not let you get away with yelling at me. I will let you tell me what to do, but ill show you alright!” Sometimes I even get multiple thumps, followed by a few min. of bun butt.  Its like a three year old testing his limits lol.  This isnt a huge deal and he has had his share of worse habits, but there isnt anything I can do about this is there? Just wondering if anybunny else does this and thought if not.. then maybe my disgruntled bun would bring a smile to ya! lol

Ruby and Honey Bunny tend to thump when irritated.  Cotton when  strange new sound or item is in his living room.   Ruby and HB kind of talk back sometimes with thumps.

we have exercise day on tuesday at clubhouse b4 lunch.  There is this 50’s song that is played  it is….

Take out the papers and the trash………….or you don’t get no spending cash

          yakkity yak don’t talk back.

That popped into my head when I read your post.     Now you know what to tell your bun

i’m gonna have to start charging for editing your subject lines… lol! (just kidding!)

i think it’s funny when mine thump at me. i seriously giggle when they do it… if i’m late letting them out to play, they’ll run into the maze and thump. it really is like talking back, good call BT.

personally, i’ll take thumping over biting, scratching, or wild peeing any day…

Yea ill take that over the peeing and nipping any day! But boy is it getting to me lol. Hopefully he will stop but if not its no biggie I guess. It makes me feel bad though.. like he is always unhappy since i have to tell him no every 10 min. leading to his thumping every 10 min. lol

Lol sorry Beka! Im a horrible at typing and spelling, so it doesnt always end up well. If you were my friend on bunspace id buy you something with my “nomies” lol. Isnt that so cool that they have virtual “nomies” now lol
