Put something safe to chew RIGHT there for him. Like weave cardboard around it, through cages bars, paper etc. Give him a phone book to dig and chew as well, this is really good for energetic buns.

Oh dear. Have you tried moving the litter box? Perhaps he does not like where it is located right now and so moving it will get him to stop. My Daffodil will do this when her royal highness doesn’t like the placement of something in the palace.

SO far what seems to be working is puttin an extra handful of Alflafa and an extra scoop of pellets, Harleys bwl is always full so really I dont know why the extra scoop makes a differance but it does lol so the cage looks a mess!!! there is alfalfa every where but Harley ahs stoped chewin the litterbox for now lol

I always had the alfala in the litter box, so now it is in the box and everywhere else in the cage LMAO

I agree that the best way to deter a bun from chewing is distracting it with something else to chew! I’ve had a lot of luck with the hay cubes they sell at the pet store. There’s also “snack shack” type things made of super condensed alfalfa that take forever to eat and are great for their teeth (here’s an example).

I had a snak shack and my Dora only took a week to chew through a log lol but I looked at the litter box and there are holes in it the little monkey is a chewer and I really need to find something Harley is going to be a new experience for me
