Oh my goodness, this is way too funny!!!
(on a lovely Thursday… sometime in January of 2008)
“We foster this bunny, ok? She doesn’t even have to come outside! She will just sit in the cage to relax in a quiet environment. She will be killed on Saturday if we don’t take her!”
(following day, right before bunny got delivered here)
“Hey, D! Bunny doesn’t do well in cage. She needs an x pen. It’s just temporary, remember? We are RAT people!”
(2 days after bunny got here)
“Hey, D, you know… bunny might bond better to people if bunny can run around just a little. Just 20 minutes every day!”
(sometime later)
“D, you know… we could leave her out while we watch TV.”
(a week later)
“D, we have this big backyard, we can let bunny out in x pen on the grass! Wouldn’t that be cool???”
(a few weeks later)
“I can’t let bunny go anywhere. I love bunny too much. She and I belong together.”
(After bunny got officially adopted…)
“D, bunny is social and she is lonely. She needs a friend of her own kind.”
(after bunny no.2 entered the house)
“D, let’s leave bunnies out all night long! They don’t do anything bad!”
(1 week later … which is… today!)
“You know, D, I think we should get our dining room back. Let’s remove the x pen and leave bunnies running around all day. They are nice bunnies, they just cuddle all day.”
The story of Velvet and Dancer…
Sorry, I hijacked this… We have become such bunny slaves!
