        Another gem from rabbit.org

        1. The bunny is not allowed in the house.
        2. OK, the bunny is allowed in the house, but only in certain rooms.
        3. The bunny is allowed in all rooms, but has to stay off the furniture.
        4. The bunny can get on the old furniture only.
        5. Fine, the bunny is allowed on all the furniture, but is not allowed to sleep with humans, on the bed.
        6. OK, the bunny is allowed on the bed, but only by invitation.
        7. The bunny can sleep on the bed when-ever he wants, but not under the covers.
        8. The bunny can sleep under the covers by invitation only.
        9. The bunny can sleep under the covers every night.
        10. Humans must ask permission to sleep under the covers with the bunny.

          Hahaha!

We have to ask permission to sit on the couch, and permission is only granted after petting. If the pets stop, the permission is withdrawn.

lol lol, Thats so cute! My mom is kind of doing the same thing. You have to follow the bunny around your room for playtime… Just watch him really closely from where ever you are in the room… just dont leave the room with him out… Just dont leave him alone for more then 20 min… no he can not run in the halllway.. just check the hallway every few min… lol she is learning really fast!

LMAO…oh geez you gys, stop, you’re killing me here! *tears roll down face from laughter*

Ain’t it the gospel truth? I swear, NOTHING goes on in this house without bunny permission slips. At least now, though, my room is a nice, quiet place where no one is allowed to come in with anything more than library voices, because anything louder gets thumps from the disgruntled populace. ^_^

How about adding bunny dietary laws? Mine taught me that:
                    Cucumber treats must be peeled.
                    No asparagus at any time.
                    Ditto for zucchini.
Anyone eating fruit must share a little (I think they could hear a banana being peeled on another floor.)
The guinea pig may share water, treats, and even a favorite corner, but was NOT allowed to share their precious hay.

                      My bunny food rules:

Move your hands away really quick, otherwise they’ll also be food.

Oh my goodness, this is way too funny!!!

(on a lovely Thursday… sometime in January of 2008)
“We foster this bunny, ok? She doesn’t even have to come outside! She will just sit in the cage to relax in a quiet environment. She will be killed on Saturday if we don’t take her!”
(following day, right before bunny got delivered here)
“Hey, D! Bunny doesn’t do well in cage. She needs an x pen. It’s just temporary, remember? We are RAT people!”
(2 days after bunny got here)
“Hey, D, you know… bunny might bond better to people if bunny can run around just a little. Just 20 minutes every day!”
                        (sometime later)
“D, you know… we could leave her out while we watch TV.”
                        (a week later)
“D, we have this big backyard, we can let bunny out in x pen on the grass! Wouldn’t that be cool???”
                        (a few weeks later)
“I can’t let bunny go anywhere. I love bunny too much. She and I belong together.”
                        (After bunny got officially adopted…)
“D, bunny is social and she is lonely. She needs a friend of her own kind.”
(after bunny no.2 entered the house)
“D, let’s leave bunnies out all night long! They don’t do anything bad!”
                        (1 week later … which is… today!)
“You know, D, I think we should get our dining room back. Let’s remove the x pen and leave bunnies running around all day. They are nice bunnies, they just cuddle all day.”

The story of Velvet and Dancer…

Sorry, I hijacked this… We have become such bunny slaves!

I think the point is well made…you know the golden rule: i.e. He who has the gold makes the rules?

My bunnies are 24 KT…and I DO mean KARROT! ^_^
