        HI

Im new to this board so would appreciate some advice

I have a lovely bunny called timi he is nearly 6 yrs old, a lionhead cross between an angora (so ive been told) he is very fluffy.

I have had him from 12 weeks old he was quite easy to train to use a litter tray. I have moved a few time over the years and he has always adapted well. Recently he has started to pee alot more out of his tray, espeiallly at night, I do leave him in the kitchen at night with his tray, toys etc, but during the day he has the full run of the house downstairs. He is also pooing alot more now all over the place, I dont know of anything that may have caused him stress, but it it causing me stress,.

He has always given us lots of fun and been very playful and inquistive , I would jus love to get this problem sorted out

so if anyone could give me advice that would be great

        suey

Pretty much it’ll be that his hormones may be acting up and it’s time to get him neutered. At 6 years old hopefully they can still do a neuter though.

welcome here! he is AMAZING! wow! if you have any more pics, PLEASE SHARE!

has he been into the vet for a check-up recently? i am wondering if it might be an infection of some type? there are no new animals in the house right? any change in routine, yours or his? if the vet clears him of any health issue, you can re-littertrain by limiting his area to a small space (like an xpen) until the habits are back in place. keep us updated please.

I would recommend an appt with a bunny knowledgeable vet.  He might be trying to tell you something.  If you an think of no other reason- environmental or behavorial that would cause him to change his litter habits- you should make sure it is not a medical problem.

He is adorable!  I agree- more pics!!!

Agreed, time for a neuter and a checkup-sounds like it may be horomones or an infection. He’s beautiful by the way! And Welcome here!

Wow beautiful! I agree to take him to the vet to make sure there isn’t a medical problem like an infection.

Also, have you been around any other animals? Have you changed lotions, soaps recently. Have you changed the furniture around. ANYthing that may be different that would cause him to “resecure” his territory via pooping. The recent change in his urine habits does concern me though. That’s not uncommon of Urine infection, so again, best bet to have him taken in for check-up.
