As some of you may know, Mimzy is having possible tooth problems again, so I’m planning on taking him to the vet this week if I can get a space in. (Pip may be going too, just for a few things like eyes and nose concerns.) As it’s stacking up, I’m going to have quite a few questions for her and here’s another one I had forgotten to ask here.
I’ve noticed, every once in awhile, there’s little spots of what must be urine just outside Mimzy’s litterbox. I don’t see them all the time, it’s just here or there and otherwise he seems fine. What would cause a neutered male rabbit to suddenly start dribbling urine? It’s just one or two spots at a time, not a trail. It wipes up easily and looks to be brownish in color.
Also, I notice that when Pip has been eating cecals (usually on her sleeping shelf) she leaves a few stains/smudges behind there also that appear to be the leavings of the ceacls themselves. Is that something I should worry about or do I just keep the area as clean as possible between ‘meals’?
Could this be a diet issue? He’s had rather more carrot tops lately.
