Layla and Charlie sleeping. These bunnies flop where ever and sleep in weird positions!

so cute! i love flops. that has to be my fav bunny event (maybe more than binkies? nah! i love binkies too!)
Max is like that, he will just flop with abandon… i joke with Mike, “yeah, Max is VERY stressed out today!” as he lays there practically upside down…
aww i never see moreland sleep. hes always awake and alert
Awww so cute..that’s how Drue sleeps too. Tucker sleeps most times in a bun loaf position but sometimes I catch her sleeping a flop. She’s always really easy to wake up though..she’ll hear something and pop right back awake. Drue though..once he’s out, he’s out. He usually won’t wake up unless we pet him or if we call him really loudly.
i wonder if it’s a lop thing? like i said, i find the same thing with Max… but like Tucker said, Meadow (my uppy ear bun) prefers the meatloaf too… she’ll flop, but not as much and she is always a bit more alert…
THREAD HIJACK: has anyone with a lop and an uppy ear bunny found the same thing?
My lop Cooper sleeps like that as well. He lays on his side and sometimes even has a leg or two up in the air! lol
Used to scare my husband to death because he thought Cooper was dead.
Honey Bunny does the same thing. Legs all sticking out and lying on his stomache or flopped over. Ears all ascew.
As we speak I am trying to get a pic of Cotton flopped out in his litterbox. Everytime I sit in front of his house he gets up. GRRR. I am going to try to get it on this side of the xpen instead of going around to his side. Dang he is still sitting up.
Cotton started flopping a few month ago. He wakes up fast tho. Honey bunny you can call his name bang the baby gate he won’t budge. Put food in front of him he will wake up as soon as he smells it.
Aw, sleeping bunny stories. Flops are my favourite Beka cause they last longer than binkings and I can oogle their cuteness for much longer.
Can anyone share sleeping bunny pics? I know you have them!
Awww – what cute little snoozers!
I just adopted my first lop after seven uppy-eared bunnies and YES I have the same experience Beka – Amelia (the lop) probably flops more than all 7 of my uppy eared bunnies combined! I wonder why that is….
C&C, I just spent 30 min. adding to your “arty” thread, and tried to delete one photo, and lost the whole reply. Lame. And it’s 2:30am my time, and I should probably sleep some time today, so I’ll just do a quck add-on here, and get back there later…
I have 2 uppity-ears.
Lizzy flops with reckless abandon. She will flop anywhere. In her hutch. On my feet. On top of Robbie. She FLINGS herself over on her side, head-first, and rolls onto her side.
I only saw Robbie flop once, and that was 24 hours after his neuter, and I think he was hopped-up on pain meds! Usually, he starts in a meatloaf, then flings his hind legs backwards, then reaches his head forward, so he’s all STRETCHED out, but still on his tummy.
I can’t imagine either of them upside down…
Here’s my favorite sleepy-bun pictures. They’re not fully-asleep, because they wake up when I come creeping near, but they’re close…
Lizzy:
Robbie:
His usual position is much more vertical (the above was unusual!):
I know I have more recent picts, but I haven’t uploaded them yet…bad bunny-mom!
sweet pics i love cuddly-wuddly buns & their little up-turned lips!
pinky poo (uppy ears) flops about as much as baby bun (lop ears)… but then i think pinky is a bit of an anomaly. she flopped when i first spotted her at the shelter while there was a room full of loud kids surrounding the plexi-glass enclosure she was in.
LOL she sounds like Drue…I swear that boy could flop during anything. The world could be coming to an end, things crumbling around him and he’d just flop over and watch.
my lop flops and sleeps too. hes usually pretty hard to wake up
hes sooo cute i wuv him
Meadow won’t always do a full flop, but she likes “stretchy legs”.
closer up… Max loves his phone book.
Cuteness overload! I’m going to look at this thread everytime I’m sad now cause how can you look at so many adorable bunnies & not feel happy?
LC – dn’t give up, repost on my other thread pls – when your more awake You’ve gotten me really interested in these mysterious pictures!
Drue catching some zzzzzz
This is as awake as he got before flopping his head down for some more sleeps.
Sleepy bunny..he was kicking his back feet..must have been one heck of a dream!
This is what happens when trying to sneak a picture of sleeping Tucker….she’s up before the flash goes off! And the look she gives is like “hello? a little privacy maybe??”
^^^That’s why your dogs like Drue, TBuns… he LOOKS like a PUPPY!!!!!
Yea lol I call him the “starter bun” for them. He’s a good starting place for them to get used to bunnies. Because he’s big and he’s fluffy and so he doesn’t look completely LIKE a bunny. But he still hops around and has crazy bunny binky runs and so we figure he’s a good intro for them into the world of bunnies LOL and then when him and Tucker are bonded we think it’ll be easier to introduce her to the dogs since they’ll be used to those “crazy hopping and flipping mid-air animals”. What’s funny is he’s also just like our dog Sammi..she’s the same way where she’ll be like walking around and then just like lay down and start rolling around and then sleep for an hour. Drue does the same thing. And Sammi is the one who follows him around like Drue is her long lost love. Sammi is about 50 lbs LOL. But they’re like…soul mates or something. Drue even grooms her.
aw what gorgeous photos, a bunny flop/sleeping is so cute!
Aw, bunny-doggy love! How sweet.
Fiver will go straight over with a thump. It’s like he’s been shot. His little legs go out all stiff. Scared the crud out of me the first time. He’s my mini-rex. uppy eared.
Mimzy (lop) tends to ‘twist’ himself down to the floor after washing it thoroughly with his tongue…like he was break-dancing or something. Of course, my camera is never within range at those moments.
Pip is very rarely ever seen flopped. I think she is too dignified for such behavior. (uppy..or maybe I should say UPPITY eared bun)
Layla is the brown lop, yes? I just love these pix, she is just like Mimzy in color.
And Beka, come on. All that teleporting out into the in-between spaces next to the pen and the walls…that’s hard work for a bun! Max must be exhausted! lolz….
It’s rare to actually see Frankie asleep, but he’s an expert lounger!

Oh Rachel, I hadn’t seen that first piccy before…how adorable!
I had to steal a caption for this, but it just fits…lolz!
Hah! He is an expert lounger. Those tiles look so nice & cool, my bunnies would love them.
in that 3rd picture Rachel, i just want to rub that soft little belly…
one day last week Max was flopped in the Maze and he had his little white tail sticking out one of the holes. i could not help myself, i reached down and touched his tail, he flipped out! i felt so bad, but you know… you get those itchy fingers…
*shrugs*
Cotton out cold. And Cotton upset I woke him.
Darn that photobucket is nuts. I try to resize and it only has 1 size tiny. Where did the other sizes go? GRRR I am always finding some type of trouble with photobucket.
Hey, BT, maybe you should do your photo-editing BEFORE uploading to Photobucket…maybe that would help? I re-size with a free program called IrfanView, and THEN I upload it to Photobucket. So all Photobucket has to do is generate the code…I never have a problem…
Back on topic—what did I say about not being able to imagine my 2 upside down?!
Lizzy decided to run around at 11am (normally bunny-nap time, the weirdo!). She did a couple laps around the coffee table, slid to a stop in a patch of sunlight, FLOPPED over onto her side, then flung herself onto her back and twitched like a dog scratching his back on the grass! OMG IT WAS TOOOOOO CUTE! Of course, she didn’t stay there, but it was too funny.
Look who I just found, passed out on her side, feet up in the air (well, they’re actually on the hutch-wall…)?! She even sat through the camera-flash! Tired Diva-Bunny…
lolz…Beka that happens to me all the time. Pip is constantly sticking her tail out flat and usually in the direction of my fingers…lolz. Unfortunately, she temps the cats the same way.
I don’t get to see Mimzy’s tail. He keeps his tucked up tight all the time.
Fiver tends to wiggle his like a dog would wag from time to time. It’s so irresistible it just BEGS to be tickled!
lolz…Lightchick…all that fur brushing has your poor bun exhausted, I can only imagine the effort it must’ve taken YOU to lift the camera! ^_^
Yay, Cotton pictures! He looks so tiny! Very cute!
He is such a trip. I got pics of him dozing in his litterbox the other day. Took several tries b4 he would stop popping up. I just love his little face. From the side it looks round. With a blue eye staring back at me from one side of his face.
Well he is only 3 lbs 2 oz. He is a little fellow. I am having a time learning to handle a bigger bunny . Honey Bunny. I do it tho. It is weird to go from big bunny to small bunny then back to big one again. Takes adjusting to.
awww Cotton! how cute!
BT, you have three of the cutest bunnies I’ve ever seen! Cotton looks like a little plushie bunny in those photos.
In fact, every time I see Ruby, I think of this Ty bunny:
You know, I’ve come back the last three days to look at that pic of Cotton. I just find myself sitting there gazing at it. BT, how do you get anything done?
Every time I need a mega-cute bunny fix I come to this post. I think everybun looks adorable when sleeping!
Oh my gosh-I never saw this thread!! CUTE overload!
I don’t remember this thread! I’m glad it was bumped. Haha I never saw the pic that Mimz captioned of Frankie!
I can tell that the third pic of Frankie is when he was a baby because it is his left ear that’s drooping.
Haha, yeah he was a baby in it… you can tell also by the extra cute-and-fluffy-ness!
I’m trying to find the pics of Smile flop/lopping but I’ve got over 10 000 pictures total on my laptop and it’s proving hard to find.
But in the meantime, a few pics of the Lops when they were babies (Oct 31, 2007):
Lion Lop, that 1st pic is awesome! Bunny Nirvana! And how flat does that one go in the 4th pic?! Verrrry relaxed!
I can’t wait to get Rye neutered so they can be together again! They are in a divided pen, but still groom each other through the bars and sleep next to each other so I know they are still bonded.
