Well it’s been a long journey but I think I’ve finally gotten through to Layla that I’m not the enemy

I was watching a movie last night (Brides, it’s really really good btw) and sitting on the couch when out of no where Layla jumps onto the couch and settles down just out of reach. She groomed herself for a while, had a little lie down and then came over to me and accepted my invitation for pats! I patted her for as long as she stayed there, which was about 1/2 hour and boy was my hand tired after and when she finally decided to go, she gave me a few licks and a bunny kiss on the nose!!!

I’m so happy that she’s settling in finally. She even flops down in front of me now, which is really impressive.

Charlie & Layla also do “Who’s happier” where Layla will binky, then Charlie will binky then they’ll groom themselves, flop, binky etc. It’s so funny!
