Ah, sorry, I did a search for this topic but I don’t think that thread showed up…or was a few pages into the search. Here’s the method I use: My husband and I take a rabbit onto some tile, so they can’t get traction to run off. Then one of us holds the bunny and the other trims the nail on each foot. They’re twitchy in that they’ll seem calm then suddenly try to kick out. Its very hard to predict and we’re slow at it since we’re afraid (really afraid
) of cutting the quick. Even though we’ve never cut into it they get agitated if they even see or hear the clippers. Also, our second rabbit has a real loathing of grooming and will bite the floor-or hands- in frustration. She’ll still eat treats during the process so I don’t think she’s terrified, just grumpy. We adopted her when she was five so we don’t really know her past.
I think I’ll give pedi paws a chance, especially since I have a coupon.
