About a month ago i gave moreland his own room.  Well thats not going so well because he is still skiddish and we dont get back there as much as we would like.  The reason i moved him was he was peeing on the carpet.  now that he is in his room he goes only in his litter box.  I want to move him back out to a more central area however unsure if thats a good idea.  i want to be able to work with him more and have him be around more.

he will not come out of his room into the living room on his own, i have to coax him.then he freaks out and goes back into his room.

any suggestion will help.  I always feed him his treats out of my hand.

can you hang out in the room he’s in? when a rabbit feels comfortable in an area (like their room, their pen, their condo, etc…) they will spend a lot of time there. i’d give him the option to explore but if he doesn’t want to, let him just play in his room.

now that mine have their own room, they spend the majority of their time in there. they will run down the hall into the lving room so they can 500 and binky in the open space, but they’ll usually scoot back into their own room. i love to sit in there with them and just watch them play.

also be conscious of when you are trying to play with him. buns are crepuscular so they have more energy and are more likely to play in the morning (before noon) and the later evening (9pm-midnight). if you can work his playtime around this timeframe, you might see a more playful bunny also.

Yes, take your laptop or a book or a tv in there and hang out with him. If he’s skittish he’ll need lots of attention but he’ll come around. I’d let him keep the room if at all possible?
