I was getting her cage ready for her to sleep in.  Then I looked and realized there is only 1 litterbox in Cotton’s house.  Maybe he is sleeping on it and Ruby can’t get to it to pee.  Hmm.

So then I put her litterbox in there too.   This morning no pee. She got the litterbox. ALRIGHT RUBY  !!!!   She did leave a little squishy poop I cleaned up this morning it has been stepped on. That beats taking the whole cage apart to clean it every morning.  All it took was 2 litterboxes.

You know Cotton no longer uses his litterbox in his cage. HE will go all nite and not use it.  Then in the morning when I let him out he goes in his litterbox outside of his cage. Strange.  He has been doing that for a couple of months I noticed. Well if he had to go that bad he would have gone in the one in his cage. I go to clean it and it is dry.

Thats why I figured 1 litterbox would work. but nope.

Now to figure out how to get them to bed without the other jumping out.

you let me know how that goes!  lmao!  mine do that too… one gets herded in and then the other pops back out for more playtime.

so they’ve been sleeping together for a few days huh and no more fighting?  i’m so pleased that it’s going well.  try not to separate them AT ALL for at least a couple weeks.  that will help to really cement that bond.  if you separate them now you run the risk of having to start all over again.

I was thinking to let them sleep in their own houses next to each other.  Cotton sleeps heavy all day he isn’t getting much sleep since I started their sleepovers. Poor fellow. He has not slept with another bun since I got him 1 1/2 yrs ago.

              Poor guy.

Sounds like Cottons has chosen the litter box to be his bed and doesn’t want to soil it.

he he, Cotton not getting any sleep huh?
