+So.  Cotton knows when I say I am going to bed and bedtime that he is to go in his cage.

Well we have this ritual…. He will be lying on top of his litter storage container. I go over and say bedtime boo lets get to bed.  He looks at me I nudge him with my hand.  Then he hops down and goes to his cardboardbox with 3 entrances. I pick up the box and place it in front of his cage door. He flies out the side opening of the box and to his litterbox by the baby gate.

Ok so I go over there pet him a little say bedtime and carry the litterbox bun and all to the door of his cage once again. Then I put my hands to the side of him without touching him in order to guide him into his house.  Then in he hops.

Everynite same thing.  Hey it works. That is funny tho he flies out the side opening of his cardboard box hehehe.

Sometimes I have had to throw a towel over him when he keeps running from me. He gets mad about that and grunts and growls at me. Well it beats chasing him and scaring him. And doesn’t take up much time either.

LOL, I just bribe the little beast with greens. He sees the greens, he heads right for his condo and chows down.

Don’t ALL children give the mom a hard time when it’s time for bed? ^_^ My buns don’t like giving up their xpen time either. Pip would love to just sit on the kitchen floor all night if she could. But I don’t want to come out to find the cat has tormented or eaten them by morning.

But we have a good chase before we go back into our night pens. They’re speedy little devils. And I always get foot thumps. My methods must be most objectionable.

I think Cotton enjoys this ritual. He wants to see how many hoops you’ll jump through before he has to go to bed.
