  I am SO lucky to have such a patient rabbit. She did awesome in the car for so long (total of 16 hours one way, but we split it up both days). She loved my parents’ house cause they have a television and she’s never seen one of those before! She couldn’t take her eyes off of it, it was so funny. Just sat there and stared at the screen. Apparently, What Not to Wear is a Layla favorite. I took her to the preschool my mom works at for a visit and the kids were enthralled and Layla just loved it…hopping around the classroom to sniff all the kids and sat very patiently to let them pet her, one by one. She’s a very special little bunny. Also, I’m proud to announce NO POTTY ACCIDENTS in my car. She even ran around and used the litter box in the moving car. I’m lucky!

  Oh wow what a great bun she is. Very smart bun too. Like a very well mannered little kid yes ma’am no ma’am hehehe. I want to see her pics. too.

  I can see a future bun slave in Kelcie! You’ve given me hope. I’ve been considering just an 8 hour car trip to see my sister and my new nephew but I am so reluctant to leave bun home. Do you think allowing her to move about freely helped her travel better or is she just one of a kind? Did you have to barricade between front and back of car?

  The seats were there but she could have climbed it if she wanted…she did at one point but hurried back right away. I think it helped to have more room…maybe if for no other reason than the rest times. She was pretty scared at first I thought but once we’d been on the road for an hour, she was back to normal. Try it..I didn’t trust anybody to watch her that long so I figured what the heck. I bought a fold up pen for a large dog for $30 at a pet store and it worked like a charm. Thanks for the comments..Kelcie is in love with that bunny.
