Searched and I didn’t see anything about this…

Can incense hurt Layla? I’m a fan of Japanese incense which tends to be extremely light to humans, but I don’t know what it can do to her. Her pen is in my bedroom.

we had a thread about air fresheners recently. buns have very strong sense of smell. can you burn the incense somewhere away from the bunny like your bedroom, or another part of the house? let me see if i can find that thread for you.

that was easy:  it was right on the second page of this forum.  this thread has very specific info about sense of smell and how it can affect their health.  https://www.binkybunny.com/FORUM/tabid/54/forumid/2/postid/68705/view/topic/Default.aspx

Yes it can, if not for the strong perfume scent, the smoke emitted by it will be inhaled by them and can cause problems. If you are able, shut the door to the room where they are and open a window. I like incense sometimes but am very careful with it around my bunnies.
