I found this at Target and could not resist- she does seem quite disapproving though! They have Dinosaur ones too- that I SO need to get one now!
ah! hahahahahahaaaa!!!
Ha ha, that pic is sooo gonna get captioned! You wait!
This chicken costume is just the hat and is marketed for cats. They has a cute small dog costume that was a mermaid. You would have to really look from it top down and it was green/blue shiny material and has a little ruffle for a tail. It used straps (like a dog backpack or jacket) to fit pet- so there was no “shirt” part to squeeze the bun into- it all just velcro strapped on. I was tempted to get it- it was only like $10. But I had willpower and was planning to look again the day after Halloween to see if they had it on clearance.
Haha, anyone a Rock-a-Doodle fan?
Just realised with lops you can use pretty much any tea cosy for hats. Not so easy for uppy ears!
Here’s best I could do.
Holy crap – Rock a Doodle! I forgot that existed until Addy mentioned it. Hahahaha!
I got curious… this one made me laugh really hard for some reason

This one is pretty great too

But if I were actually getting one for Frankie it would be one of these or Frankenstein bolts:

Lol @ pics and captions. Too funny. Is there anything cuter than a dressed up rabbit???
We should have a Binky Bunny halloween costume pic contest!!!! I’ve got a couple of costumes in mind…
haha soo cute! what a disapproving bun!
aww how adorable. did he grunt or thump at all when you put him down(or did he cockadoodle doo?) =]
When we put her down after taking pics Cotton first tried a body shake that almost looked like a binky (but I am sure was not
) then tried a scratch of 2 with the hind foot and when that didn’t work she tried to hop and give a little head shake and body twist (again almost like a binky). Tossing her head moved the “hat” down to cover her eyes- so I just took it off her then. She had it on hopping around for maybe about 15 seconds. She was annoyed but puzzled.
I like the captions so far!
I also of course had to try this on the cats- all of which immediately layed their ears flat back and got VERY wide eyed. They were extremely annoyed- but not in a cute way for pictures. They looked more constipated than cute.

Little Puffy tail – a Binky Bunny Halloween costume pic contest – brilliant!!!!!!!
Oh yeah, there’s an idea…lolz. I would just love to have the bunny butt and nips, oinks and growls for days on end trying to get my three into costumes…bwahaha! I’ll gracefully bow out of this one I think. 0_o
But yeah, I used to put stuff on my cats too. I had a lovely tiered necklace I used to be able to get one of my cats to wear that made her look very Egyptian like. She seemed to love it too. I would have a harder time getting it off her than putting it on. Perhaps she was Bast in a past life…lolz.
I wish I had the pic of my current cat with one of those American Girl doll hats on her head, it was too funny. She actually seemed to like it!
And since I had black cats, I would actually hang a cross on their collars at Halloween in case they got outdoors while we were helping trick or treaters, because there were some folks in our neighborhood back then (in California) who thought it was funny to torture black cats at Halloween. There was even some cult down there that still believed they were witches’ familiar and would kill them. Could you imagine them picking up one of my cats and seeing the cross on it’s neck? (Not that it would help the cat, but it might give the lunatic pause.)
I never lost a cat to a screwball at Halloween though. ^_^
I’m with MimzMum…I would LOVE to see all of your guys’ dressed up buns, but if I went anywhere near Lizzy with a costume, I would hear about it for days! (I tried putting a harness on her a couple of weeks ago…omg, the FREAK OUT that ensued!)
ROTFL!!!
Ok, well I’m in for the contest!!
Start thinking about some costume ideas, guys, because I’ll probably be posting a new Halloween thread soon (super hint)
I soooo have to go shopping, lol….any excuse!!!
hahahahahahahaha
halloween is so not a big deal here, no-one even cares about it lol
I like that comes in regular or extra dissaproving heheeahhahaa.
LOL!! That is too adorable. Oh gosh, Dallas is going to hate me when Halloween comes around. I will be getting another bun at the end of this month/beginning of next month so I will have to dress him/her up too.
I’m in!! Hahaha if I can get Smudge to wear a costume… hmm maybe just a hat.
k&d – My whole family is from the UK and many of them have moved here over the years, they were all shocked at how much we celebrate Halloween. I love Halloween but more than that I love Guy Fawkes night, unfortunately it just isn’t the same here. One day my Grandad is going to take us all over there for Nov 5th so we can see how its really done!!
Ok, enlighten the silly American! “Guy Fawkes night”????
yea.. whats that? ^^^
Guy Fawkes was a guy who tried to blow up the English Parliament way back when…and the English have like, Guy Fawkes’ dances and bonfires and fireworks and such.
^^ interesting.. but id miss dressing up for Halloween lol ( even though im a bit old for that lol)
It’s like a bonfire type celebration, where a “guy” is burned in effigy. (Like has been done with George Bush on more than one occasion.)
Wasn’t Guy Fawkes a revolutionary or something? I think he failed in his attempt and the bonfires are lit every year to commemorate his memory?
Ah! Here we are!

Boo, K&D — Halloween is my favorite holiday!
Hmm for other Americans, I just think if the Guy Fawkes mask in V for Vendetta, but that followed the “blowing up parliament” thing too haha
