All i could think was thank goodness i stayed home from school today!
This morning around 8am Sage, my beagle puppy, was barking like crazy from her cage, i told her stop and went back to sleep. (I still cage her cage since she is a puppy when we sleep or leave) But anyways…she will often bark at the other dogs if she thinks we need to know they are being bad lol i love her! around 10:30am i got my lazy butt out of bed and went over to fed Hammer, when i noticed his cage door was unlocked! He wasnt in there and my heart stopped! I paniced since we have 2 dogs and 3 cats loose in the house that arent fully ok with him yet. This is when i realised i should have listened to Sages warning lol. I ran out and closed my door thinking if he was in there that was the safest place to be so id cheak there last. i went and glanced downstairs thinking that would be the worst place for him, and no hammer in sight. So i bolted back upstirs and there he was! Relaxing on the bathroom rug, i started to breath again lol. When i went to get him he ran of course, he loved his freedom. when i got him i cheaked him over the best i could and put him back in his LOCKED cage lol. then i searched and found no damage, yay! for those of you that dont remember my cage, the levels have big doors, that have a tiny spring on them, so they close if they arent opened enough. So im thinking he flopped against the door and was surprised when it moved lol, pushed again and went out, the door closing behind him. He was out for a good 2 and a half hours and im so happy im sick and stayed home lol. Right now im bun proofing the hall and bathroom, so he will have that and my room for playtime. We have survived our first escape!

lol i know, when i first joined this forum i didnt quite understand how everyones lives included so much bun stuff. its begun lol! my friends are annoyed with my rambling about things hammer did and my mom is concerned ive become obbessed lol Im so excited to have Hammer! even if he scares me sometimes hehehe i never imagined bun proofing everything, spending so much, two veggie meals a day, a mini frig or even caring so much lol

HE is soo cute. Yes my friends run or their eyes glaze over. I have restrained myself from shoving bunny pics at them. Well lately anyway. I still talk n talk about them.

I walked into the room and sat down…introducing myself I said I am so n so and I am a bunaholic. lol rofl. too true.
