  Wow the last 2 nites Cotton has groomed Ruby. Ruby has yet to reciprocate. She runs around exploring and playing. They were head to head doing the groom me standoff. I went and petted both of them. Then they ran playfully. I saw Cotton toss his head like he was going to do a binky.
  
  I think this is finally going to work out. They both seem so happy.

  thank goodness! i really hope they can continue to get along. grooming sometimes does not come until later, so don’t worry about that. once they are no longer fighting, your next step is to house them together, continuously for 2 weeks straight. this will help to cement the bond.
