so moreland has been doing this for a while.  hes been vet checed and everything fine clean bill of health.  doesnt act weird. but he shakes his front foot really fast and periodically?  is this a minor thump?  he walks around shaking it.  itches then shakes it or just walks around and shakes it?

        is this anger?

does it look like a foot flick? some bunnies shudder their upper bodies as a precursor to a binky or a mini-binky in itself. some flick their heads and ears. i’m not entirely sure of your description.

my bunny does that prior to grooming, she’ll shake both of her front paws, one at a time, then together then wash her little face. idk why she does it, but it isn’t like a problem or anything. do you notice him do this before grooming or is it something else entirely?

its like if you took your hand and flicked it around for a few seconds like you hurt your finger how you shake it really quick. more of a flick. but his upper body doesnt move just takes his paw and flicks it.

like flick flick flick and hes done sometimes he will flick it into his water or his bowl so it tings.

like snugglebunny said, does he do it in conjunction with grooming, before or after?

you can check his nails and his pads. It could be that he just has a tuft of fur that gets stuck between his toes from time to time so he flicks it free. But if he’s hopping around on it, I wouldn’t worry.

Yeah – mine does the same thing. I call it the bunny robot because it’s such a jerky movement.

Does he shake his front feet when he is grooming or is this just happening any time? Mine also will do it when they get up from laying down to get the circulation going.
