Hey everyone!! Well the power went out yesterday at 4:00pm. Just came back on about 1-2 hours ago. I guess a tree fell on a power line and knocked the pole and the wires down! I have been pet sitting a dog in the neighborhood, so when the power went out the battery on the securitey box’s batterey thing got low so it started beeping and wouldn’t stop for 2 hours. Well the power came back on and the security alarm went off!!! The WHOLE neighborhood could hear. So I rushed over to get her out. Poor thing was freakin out!! It was so loud in the house I had to go upstairs and find her cause she couldn’t hear me. She was howlin and whining!! Well the neighbors came over to help and we called the owners to see how to turn it off. No matter how many times I put the code in it woudn’t shut off!! So we were going to detatch the battery, when it went off. So I took Shadow (the dog) on a walk to settle her down come back to the house and the high pitched beeping noise is going on in the house! So the neighbors come over again and one took Shadow to her house cause she doesn’t have a dog (Shadow doesn’t like other dogs). I gave her the owner’s cell # so she could call them if anything went wrong. Another of the neighbors came over to tell us a dispatcher was coming and he was going to try and un hook the batterey. Well the person who is taking care of Shadow at her house till the next walk said I could go home. So I’m sitting at home eating and I hear the alarm go off again. Thank goodness Shadow wasn’t in the house!! Her next walk is in 2 hours, so I’ll go pick her up then, but what a weekend!!

Wow, I didn’t know there were power outages. I would have expected my old neighborhood to crash if the winds were that bad…Glad they didn’t though. Sorry yours did.
