Hi everyone,
I haven’t posted for a long time, but I’ve been around.
I have a question and I am not sure if anyone can answer it but anyhow…I have a fenced backyard and my bunnies are out in a dogpen in the summer. My neighbour often has friends over that have large dogs and recently the dogs started ripping and digging at my wooden fence to get in. It really scared me. I have reinforced the fence with wiring fencing to keep them out but I’m wondering what rights do I have? I mean I think legally they are not allowed to let their dogs in my yard. I’m positive they couldnt get in my rabbits pen as it is made for large dogs, chainlength and has a cedar roof. The bunnies have a hutch inside it as well that they can hide in but I don’t want them being scared to death by these dogs if they get in.
Does anyone know what I should do or if the SPCA will help me if they get in? I cannot bring my rabbits inside the house due to my bad allergies. They go inside my workshop in the FAll and Winter but it’s still too warm and I dont’ want them to overheat.
Thanks,
Bette
