We were just discussing and wondering…..where do your buns nap?

We think its weird that Boston comes out of her cage and naps in random places around the house. Everywhere: the kitchen, dining, room, halling, middle of the living room, under coffee table, behind couch, IN the entertainment center…..Don’t you think she would feel safer in her cage where she’s protected on most sides? Just wondering if her napping behvaviors match some of your buns?

My bunny naps all over the place too – under the recliner, behind the desk, under the dining room table, sprawled out on the living room floor…very occasionally in her cage.  If someone is home, she has free range of the apartment and only really goes in her cage to munch hay and get a drink.  On really hot days we put a bottle of frozen water outside her cage resting against the plastic bottom to cool it off for her, so she spends a bit more time in there then.

Mine basically nap in their pen, lined up cheek to cheek like an Oreo cookie (black buns on either side, white bun in the middle). Sometimes they will go off to their separate favorite areas of the pen. They never nap outside of the pen.

Generally if Luey is in his pen he will nap in his littertray and at times on the floor in a chook position with his butt up against the wall.

If he’s out he’s under one of the recliner chairs.

maybe your bun just feels so comfortable in the house, she knows she’s safe everywhere? Meadow will wander and nap, Max prefers the pen or the Maze.

oh, and when i read the title, i misunderstood, i thought your BF had gotten another bunny and had a question about it! lol!

Haha…another bunny! Yeah right! I ask everyday though……! It was just funny cuz he makes fun of me for being on here all the time, but then he wanted me to ask a question, so I had to give him credit for wanting to use BB!!!

Felony likes to jump up on the kitchen chair under the table and nap there…

The kitchen chair, eh? Boston has yet to jump on one of those…hmmm, i’m sure its just a matter of time.

Felony is an awesome name by the way!

Kay is always napping under the dining room table.
Winston either naps next to her in in one of his boxes.

Hey Mia – I bet Suki does nap, but with her eyes open (creepy, hu?) so, you did not noticed she was asleep.

I don’t cage my bunny so I don’t know if that makes a big difference but Mr. Whiskers likes to nap under my futon during the day but once it hits around 9 pm or so and the lights go down a bit he’ll come out from under the futon and relax right in front of the TV as if he’s watching it, it’s so funny.
For some reason he has taken a huge liking in my ex boyfriend and my ex was over last night and fell asleep on my couch (i know nice quality time together huh?) and I looked down on the floor and he’s resting right next to the futon as if he was just trying to be close to my ex but without jumping up on the couch.
Then once in a while Mr. Whiskers will jump up on my bed to rest for a bit when I turn out the lights to go to sleep.
                              Silly bun
