We’re at the end of a large project at work and with the hours I’ve been putting in, I haven’t been able to give the buns their out time as much as they’ve been used to, my diva Pringles in particular has been peeved at me.

Thursday morning I went to feed, she had thrown ALL the bowls, toys and baskets from the top floor to the bottom level of the condo where I have to remove a panel to get them. As soon as I reached in she zoomed over my shoulder and tore around the house like a manic, flicking me off and then ran under the bed. She refused to come or chase out, sat under there snorting, honking, thumping and oinking at me.

Any other rabbit I would have shut the room off, left a litter box and feed out, but not her, she’d destroy the room while I was gone. So I sent my boss an email saying I was being held hostage by the rabbit and attached this photo, She finally came out around 10am so I could leave

Yes, she IS a brat and I think they did have it planned. anywhere else in the condo I can just reach in and get stuff. When I was looking at her under the bed I didn’t even get close and she was carrying on like “come on, sucker, just try and touch me”.

She is indeed my wild child.

Haha! “Oinking and Honking” thats my Honybear! she is really jealous of the baby rabbit that came into her home about a week ago.. so miss priss insists on doing bad things whenever i give the little one attention, including biting my foot. jumping up on the table and knocking dishes off, and of course while making a mess she also makes the loudest noises ever! I always thought rabbits were really quite but ever since the little one came in, she he very vocal, and destructive! The grunting that comes out of her little mouth is definitely bunny-words for screw you!

Thank goodness, they usually don’t hold grudges for too long.

Ha! I was afraid to admit that Pringles has gotten on the table, too, knocking stuff off. I was blaming the cats for the longest, until I realized there was always a poo left in the middle. Just one, just a message to let me know it was her.

lolz…Little bunny calling cards. Like “Kilroy Was Here.” xD No worries, the cat’ll take the heat!
*giggles* I can see you trying to get at her under the bed and she’s just sitting there like, “Yah, I’m bad. You’ll be kissing bunny butt for a few hours.”
What a little stinker! ^_^ I have had a time with Pip since bringing Fiver home, she is constantly blowing me stink eyes and disapproving frowns, but nothing to this extent. I don’t envy you your Princess Bun! ^_^
I love the ransom note. I gotta remember that….lolz!

Actually if I’m late for work they know it was a ‘bunny emergency’ or I found some kind of stray on my way in…or once I got there (had to leave last week to take a robin to the vet) -nice to have understanding bosses! Your boss must be a hoot if you can send that pic in to be late!! LOL

kd, she finally got hungry and came out on her own, but she wanted to make sure and get her point across.

I walked into work one morning with a full grown seagull! Besides the fact I live in Central Texas was odd, it had plopped down in the left turn lane of the busiest street in Waco at rush hour. The rehaber I took it too later that day said it probably tired out on the migration south, saw the wet street reflecting moonlight and thought it was a lake and was too tired to take off again.

Luckily other cars blocked for me so I could get her, she sat still as a stone on my desk all morning while I called around to see what to do with her, people thought she was stuffed.

The rehab lady took care of her for a few weeks, then drove all the way to Galveston (4 hours one way) to release it where that species was nesting. Can you imagine what the other gulls thought when this guy jumps out of an SUV after they had to fly all that way?

It’s a cool feeling to be able to watch them fly off again, isn’t it.

I’m one of those people weird stuff just happens to. I went camping last summer, driving up to the park gate in my pickup truck, when all of a sudden, I’ve got blood all over me and feathers in my hair.

This big hawk had seen my sidemirrors and attacked his reflection, in the process wrapping his neck around the metal mirror support and decapitating himself, the head landing in my lap.

The park warden was only a few yards away and saw it happen and was trying to keep a straight face as I drove the final 15 feet to his gate, bloody carcass still swinging from my driver’s side mirror and spitting black feathers.

He said, ya know that’s an endangered species you got hanging from that mirror there? If I hadn’t seen it happen, I’d have to write you a ticket for it.
It was pretty horrible, but he did help me clean up a bit and get the poor bird’s parts off the truck, but it was quite a shock. Poor ol bird, I felt so sorry for him.

my neice had a baby seagul fall down their chimney, so they raised it inside till it got old enough to put it out so anyway… it lived permenantly on their roof – but occasionally came inside to cuddle up on the sofa with their dog & watch some tv! hehehe

Kralspace, every time I’m convinced Lizzy is the brattiest thing alive, Ms Pringles does something SO much more…!

I currently have to crawl under a hotel room bed twice a day to chase out Lizzy, who just runs under the other bed…then behind the entertainment center…then under the armchair…back to the bed….and then I finally catch her there is much flailing and slipping away and stink-eye (oh, help me if she gets away and I have to start all over!), and then finally I fling her into her pen and I can either go to work or to bed! Oh, I miss my bunny-proofed home!

I can not even imagine taking care of Pringles in a hotel room, I think I’d give her the key and just leave! I have a string of maybe 15 nic cubes tied together I can pull around the bed to keep them out when I need to, but she flat caught me by suprise that morning. And so verbal!

I’m curious weasel, what does a seagull like to watch on TV? 😉

We should have a Bunny Brat Contest

Oookay you guys, I am not going to think anything of my hum-drum day of trying to get three picky, stuck up bunnies to learn to get along after reading some of these escapades! That hawk story is awful! Gosh I think I would’ve screamed my own head off if that had happened to me.

But I still think my brat has all your brats beat, just in the evil eye department alone. ^_^

Bonding with Pip & Mim? It’s kind of on hold for a bit. Although I had them together for a brief period yesterday with a barrier and they seemed to be alright like that.
It’s seeing Mimzy going up to Fiver in his pen and touching noses each night that is precious. I’ll have to get pix.

We should totally have a brat contest!  But what are the criteria?  How do we judge?  Someone start a thread; I’m all about it!

(Imagine Pringles, Pip, Lizzy, and Maryann all locked together in a room…  EEEK!)

Here’s what I get several times a day in my hotel room…I left the spray bottle at home.  Dumb me.  Just bought another one last night, which has severely cramped Miss-Thing’s style!  HA!

(She charged me about 30 seconds later, then stopped when she got to me like a bully who doesn’t know what to do when you don’t back down!  “oh, well, never mind…I was just going over here…whatever…bye…”
