he’ll be okay with limited run-time for a couple weeks. maybe let him out under close supervision in a tile or linoleum area. i know, this is a tough time, but you really need to wait it out. things will get better!

He might even stop marking in the mean time. Boston goes through her marking stages. Strange as it seems, I find putting a pee-soaked paper towel in her box makes her go in there again. Even though she’s marking, its like she suddenly realizes she’s sposed to go in the box. Its worth a shot, right?

Agreed. It won’t hurt him to have less time out in the mean time

Angelina- all those bad behaviors, well, they are mostly hormones. i promise! Just bide your time for now, let him be destructive with the phone book. Give him a piece of cardboard or apple tree sticks (untreated)… old towels are great too. give him a focus for his hormones, but don’t be surprised if he (cough cough) attempts to mate the towel! LOL

you can’t reprimand a rabbit. even caging them up afterwards doesn’t do much in the way of discipline. he just really needs to be neutered and once that’s done (after 1-2 months) all those hormones should be out. i’m sorry there’s nothing else we can offer you. you really just have to wait. the last week or so before my rabbit’s spay, she got very little out-time b/c she was just so crazy. but afterwards things got better.

thats what i figured he has an ex pin around his cage. im not going to let him out of that.  he goes in saturday! thank god   thanks for the advice i will just wait it out.  stinker even though hes evil stole my heart.  i wasnt sure if making a loud noise after a bite will teach them, but since its soo soon i will wait it out and work on him after.
